Is it just me? Or when an African American answers the phone do you cringe and think why bother maybe I should just hang up and try another spin at the customer service wheel.

I have an appointment for Comcast cable from 7PM - 9PM tonight... I got home early... soo.. I called and said.. I am home early can you tell the technician that he can come earlier if it is convenient for him? ( courtesy call).

Wakisha said, " Sir yo appointment is 7-9."

" i know" I said, " but I just thought maybe it might convenient if the tech knew he could come earlier if he was in the area".

Wakisha said, :"I am sorry sir, I can't help you"

I said, " theres no way to contact the tech in the field?"

WAkisha said, " no sir.

I said ," ok.... murmering fucking ******" under my breath and hung up.

So I call Comcast back and blessed be the lord.. I get a white girl.

She said, SURE NO PROBLEM...I just texted the technician in the field thank you for your courtesy.

RACISM? No, no fucking way... facts I deal with every day. I grew up in a time when everything went as smooth as my second call. It should not be this way now... If black people can't step up... This PC shit must end and we need to fire their asses. I'm sick of it.


Few years ago a black girl told me i couldn't change my contract on my phone for two more years... after two years of paying 150.00 a month... i gleefully called to lower my service and this white dude says , O DUDE, YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR SERVICE ANYTIME YOU WANT.

That boon cost me about a grand.

I had a monitor go bad on one of my PCs. Smoked, made crackling noises, had no
picture and smelled like some thing was burning.

I put on another one and it all worked fine. Bad monitor, no doubt.

Called cust service and got a black woman. I explained the problem and she axked
if I was in front of my computer. I said "no, I'm at work".
"Sorry I cain't help you." Was all I got.

Waited for awhile and called back. Got a nice sounding white woman with a killer
southern accent. I explained again what happened and she said:
"No problem. You obviously have a bad monitor. I'll send you a new one right now.
Just repack the old one up and send it back. Is that all we can do for you today?"

This isn't the only time I've had this experience, just the one that stands out in my mind.
If you can't do any more than read from a script, then you're not really a help to me.

Consider yourself lucky it was a short conversation. If you told her you were near the computer she would have gone through the monitor test flowchart and told you it was not broken.

That's why I just ended the conversation right there. I knew it was a waste
of time.

Had another when the power cord on one of the laptops went bad.
Plugged into a good outlet and no green light. The laptop went dead very
soon after. I called up and got a dot head. Wants me to try and connect
to the internet. DUH! It's dead. NO POWER!

Which causes an investigtion, in which he sits in limbo, until its completion. Then he gets transfered because any orders he give the cop that made the complaint may be seen as retribution. Even if he is 100% right. Most don't want or need the aggravation. And do it comtinues.

And some females and minorities know this and act accordingly.

Kinda ruins the reputation for the hard workng folks of any race/gender being that they are the B)loudest and B) biggest whiners so they are noticed more.

It's not fair but it's the way it is.

About 6 months ago, I upgraded my cell phone with ATT. I got a Palm Treo 750. I got it so I could check my work email in the field and not have to drive back to the office for assignments, save on gas etc...

The company IT guy was out for 2 weeks and I could not sync my Palm with the company Outlook Web Access.

Finally get in touch with the IT fella. He says he won't allow Palm, just Blackburry since the have the BES already set up.

I call ATT to change the phone and get Dasheka on the other end. She says nope, sorry can't exchange, one day past the exchange period. I explained nicely to her that I was actually 29 days, not 30. She just refused to help me.

Forget that I have been a loyal customer for 8 years. That goes a long way in the cell world.

I hang up, call back and get a white guy. The black girl had pissed me off so bad, I just asked to speak to a supervisor. White guy asks me to let him try and help first.

I tell him that all I wanted to do was trade the Palm for a Blackburry. He said no problem and the phone arrived the next day.

Go figger.

One conversation I had with a negro recently was about some of the local yoots,who would show up for a job interview with their pants falling off,hat on sideways,gold toofs,and a distinct inability to speak English.Ever tried to talk to one of these? I too have experienced these awful customer service bitchez, both over the phone and live. It may be worse in person, 'cause you have to see their massive, fat asses, so huge you just wonder "how did THAT happen?" But then you instantly put two and two together, remembering that she doesn't actually DO anything.

And yes, all white people and black men have given me at least helpful customer service.

I always just hang up when I get a black female because I am always afraid that even if they say they will help me they are just sitting there filling their nails going “Uh-Huh, no problem” while not really doing shit. After I hang up I always feel paranoid so it’s not worth it to even try. Just hang up and talk to someone else so I can have some piece of mind that they are doing what they say they are.

This is funny I just saw this thread after being so pissed having to deal with "customer service"

I have a HDTV DVR box from Comcast that constantly freezes and locks up anytime I have a HD channel on. I call comcast to explain that their is something wrong with the box, after 10 minutes of pressing numbers to get to a live person I get a black woman.

After verifying every piece of info on my account she tells me that tech support is closed and she cant help me that I should just return the box and they will give me a new one.

I go to Comcast and they tell me I got wrong info they cant just replace the box a tech needs to install it. After arguing with that black woman the manager comes out and states that all the woman on the phone had to do is resend a signal to the box and it will fix it 90% of the time.

God damn do I hate comcast.

Its the fat black bitches you have to worry about. The lazy black people at my work are always the fatass ones who are too bloated to even walk at a good pace to the front of the store. I've had to page associates to the front before, and I always dread when its the infant section. Just today I had to call on that department, and no one showed up! Why? Because everyone who works in that area are fat bloated black bitches who stand around talking to each other while their department is destroyed by soccer moms.

(How they can even stay fat working in a department store where walking is mandatory is a mystery to me.)

I dont care about all that race shit..my partner was asked to hire this black kid to help him out... favor to a friend.... after yelling at him all day to wear his hat straight and pull his pants up... the customer called him on the way home after the job... her wallet was missing.

he said i dnt take it yo.

so he just said to her? i dunno?

next day he over slept... so he called the keeds mom... o he sleepin... (partner) oh he fired then, goodbye.

two weeks later... the customer calls him and says the wallet was found by police in an area known as lawside ... guess who lived in Lawnside.

fuck favors , fuck PC, i won't hire em.

My other friend ran a produce juction for 14 years.. he sat and said to me once.

" Dude, I just refuse to hire them...I have hired hundreds... they ALL stole, didn't show up and were generaly worthless."

I have on friend who has a few thug employee... Reason being? Bad neighborhood... they sleep all day and collect a check so the hood rats do not kill any of the other employees.
