I was impressed by the level of the conversation and Ant's Star Trek knowledge when William Shatner came in today.

William Shatner was in to promote his new talk show -- "Shatner's Raw Nerve" on the Biography channel(10 PM EST Tues) --billed as an "edgy and off-beat celebrity interview series" and his autobiography, "Up Till Now."

It's too bad Ant's a trekkie 'cause it's only gonna hurt that much more when that piece of shit -- whether Shat makes a "surprise cameo" or not -- opens wide in May.

I am watching Shatners show tonight. A very good interview with Jena Jameson. Currently watching the KIMEL interview.

I will probably set this series up on my DVR.

Don't see him going anywhere since he was at the top through the whole merger and all.

I was talking with Shatners driver outside and he said Bill stayed 30 minutes longer than he was supposed to.

It was a great interview. I'm glad Opie didn't fuck it up.

He's married now, his balls have been removed.

I was talking with Shatner's driver too & he said not to believe the scuttlebutt -- the counteroffensive against Rigel 7 is a go.

Loved the interview. When in the middle of a conversation about the environment Ant can throw in a Kligon reference and Bill goes with it. Hilarious.

Listening now. Damn is he great and I haaaaaate Star Trek. I'm more a fan of the man than anything.

You know I'm suprised Ant hasn't got into motorcycles. That's a fucking rush and obviously that's what Mr. Hair Plugs is wanting. lol

Yeah liked it too. I was worried Ant would take it down that long trampled path of his relationships with his Star Trek co stars...glad it didn't happen. His work the past five years has stood on its own and he deserves kudos for some awesome TV Moments.

Does anyone have a link to the garage hold-up scene?

Agreed, Im a huge Star trek and Boston Legal Fan. I loved how he confronted Ant radio gold. At first it was alot of plugging but turned into Star Trek IV actualized.

I agree that Bill was a great guest. The entire time he held my attention. Even if it took a 2nd listen to follow the "Cod" talk.

after the last time shatner was on (a phoner) I was surprised they were as nice to him.

Shatner seems like a cook but him and anthony were awesome together on air.

The best thing about the O and A show...the best thing, is they dont stop when they are on a roll. No commercial interuptions, well very very few when they are on a roll. That is why I hate regualar radio now.

This interview rocked.

very good interview. Though I too wondered if opie was going to blow up the interview :)

The fact that he came in busting balls is probably why it went so well. I really think things would've gotten ugly if he hadn't. That uncomfortable things-could-go-wrong-any-second vibe definitely added to it, especially when he started getting heated in his argument, things sooo could've gone bad.

One of my favorite interviews O&A have done with a huge celebrity.

Wjat impressed me was, unlike alot of other douche celebs, he had not problem with getting into an intelligent argument or running with a joke about his past. Great interview.

Love da Shat-man just for being himself than for his work. And speaking from personal experience, anyone who tips the take-out counter at a Chinese restaurant is OK in my book.

I've seen Shatner phone calls on other shows end very badly. I think being face to face smooths things over a bit more.
