eh, the cops wont buy it, the biggest issue is that it will be a pain in the ass to get parts for it, that and 250k on a cop car??? pffft, thats like a million miles on a regular car, they need to stick to new cheep production cars. something that you can get parts for anywhere any time, there's a lot of mundane shit that burns out on cop cars. stuff like seat belts, door handles window motors... also the last thing they want is an exotic motor, the police package for fords (and the chargers) is really nothing special. they eliminate the fuel shut off... put a mat in it instead of carpet and a few other really just off the shelf stuff extra power circuts.. and even most of those are in a regular fuse box they just dont put fuses in them.
what they need to do is put larger bumpers on them
i work on cop cars every single day, those guys are HARD on there shit, ive often thought about designing a police car. after spending years thinking about it.... fuck it, they wreck them so fast that its a complete waste, just buy a new one every 5 years (3 some times) and be done with it, and a 5 year old police car is a complete piece of shit... oh and there FILTHY inside, there so dirty that i will not get in one or work on one with out gloves on
