he wasn't listed as a player in day 1 either of the 5k

they were running coinciding tournies with the 5k main so possibly he ran deep in one of those (sub 1k buyin tournies)

i'll keep lookin for results, i hope he crushed them, the fields weren't that tough when i was there last week, i couldn't really do anything right when it counted though.

they weren't running satellites to the 2009 ME, a seat into the ME is included with the tourney win though in the 5k main event for the circuit event though.

the ME is out of the question cause it takes forever, it's about 4 days till you get itm, that's 5 playing days, not counting day 1a,1b,1c yada yada


now, the Borgata Winter Open with little jimmy playin the 16th/17th is a possibility for sure

smaller buyin stuff (sub 1k) and all the tournies minus the deepstack ones are 2 day events, basically playin down to about 27-50 people or 2am, whatever comes first.


i gotta get my jimmy tix soon since he already sold out a show and i'll prolly be there for a week for the first string of tournies, then back down to the 3k main event which may be the best live tournament structure ever put together imo.

By the way, I would take on Ant in Hold em in a second. After listening to his BJ rants, I am sure he is a capable player, but he is to into the "superstitious" thing.

I saw him play at Sonny's Pest Poker tourney a few times, and I hope he was just bored because if he plays like that in a real tournament, he has ZERO shot at cashing at ANY live tourny. But like I said, I think he was just bored and probably had to fuck Mel.

ohhh so winning this tourney granted him a seat at the Main Event....yeah thats nothing like a satellite..which as we all know is a smaller tourney that gets you into the bigger tourney...they are as different as night and Earl.


Oh and just to gloat a bit hit my first ever Royal Flush last night...sucks that it was in my home tourney, but a royal flush nonetheless
