Seriously. Norelco smashes it into womens brains that all men want an electric razor. I hate those things. Everytime I get one for a gift I want to thow it directly at the woman's head. The razor companies are the equivilant of Kay's jewelry. No guy that I know really wants these. Any guy that shaves consistently probably has a decent relationship with thier razor. They know how they want to shave. Fuck electric razors. Gimme some mach 5 blades and Im happy.
With an electric razor, you have to use it. When I would get the slightest of stubble my ex would always ask...
"Why don't you use that razor I got you."
"Where is that razor I bought you?"
" You need to shave, Where is my razor? "
"Why the fuck don't you use the Razor!?!?!?!"
It is a fucking piece of shit!! Ill never use it!! Shave your stache bitch!

I used an electric razor once, I bought one of those Panasonic wet dry, electric razors when they first came out in the mid 90's - I shave in the shower so I thought it would be a good idea. Spent over $150 on it - used it once.

Been using a great electric razor for he past 6 years. Despite changing the heads on it regularly it has started to Freddy Kruger my neck everyday. I want that new one they are advertising non-stop on TV with the smaller head and perfect for the neck. My wife knows this and better show up with it on Christmas Day.

My wife got me a straight razor for Christmas. She gave it to me early and I love it. Only sliced myself once. That's all it takes for you to stop fucking around and strop it right.

it always makes me laugh this time of the year when i see all those commercials.
I tried using an electric and it sucks. especially if you dont shave for 3 or 4 days. you can never get those hairs on your neck once they reach a certain length.

I use a good old Gillette Sport Two Blader, had the razor since I was 14, and they still make the heads for it.
Ummmm no. Everytime I try to use an electric razor my face ends up looking like it caught on fire and somebody tried to put it out with a golf shoe.

I got a Norelco a couple of years ago that had the lotion you put into it that was supposed to help that. It sucked and I gave it 2 months until the lotions ran out and trashed it.
Love my Schick Quattro. I'll load up on blades when I see them on sale.

this is kinda personal but i would never use an electric razor for my face. It is terribly inaccurate. I was thinking it would be alright for my back and maybe balls but not sure. Does anyone have any experience with this???
Absolutely

I had an electric razor when I was like 15 or so, and used it, but like it's been said it left it blotchy and didn't shave the neck that well.
Now I just use a beard trimmer, let it grow about 2 weeks and then use a 1 blade and start over. I haven't used a straight-edge in like 4 years.
I lump hygiene products in with everyday products, in which I don't really think of either as a gift. Like my one grandma always buys me shoes for X-Mas. Shoe's aren't really a "Gift" to me, either would razor blades. Maybe I'm weird, but it'd be like giving me a 24 pack of toilet paper. I'm going to buy shoes regardless, same as blades or contact solution.

Sharper image beard/hair trimmer with the number 3 setting for a light beard and a plain ole gillet mach 3 are all I ever use. I can give myself a hair cut, style a beard or shave anything from my face to my ass and only use two products.
Electric shavers SUUUCCCKKKK, a nice beard trimmer and god ole grocery store changable blade razors are all you will ever need.

Maybe they got better, because I bought one about 5-6 years ago and still use it. My first one was a piece of shit Norelco or Remington one that I got when I was a wee lad with peach fuzz. Then I bought myself a Braun which ended up being an overrated piece of shit. I bought the Panasonic and use it 2-3 times a week. If I get a shower in the morning, I'll shave in the shower using my vibrating Mach 3. But, if I get a shower at night I'll just shave in the morning with the electric.
I like my norelco electric. I can't use a regular razor. No matter what kind of shaving cream/razor/water temp. I use, I get some gawd awful razor burn. I have no problems with an electric.

Got a Really good one about a year ago. Have to send in the blade once a year and they send you a new one for free. All in all, I like it..lot easier to do in the car than dry shaving with a regular razor.

Electric razors are for faggots and sailors (named Lawrence).
My face looks like Edward James Olmos after using an electric razor.

But I have not shaved since July and look creepy. Maybe we should have a wackbag beard thread.

Electric razors are great if they work. I would absolutely love one. But I bought 2 and both of them are shit. It's a crap shoot. Reviews don't work either, because a razor that works with one person's hair doesn't work with another's.

Never used an electric razor, it's all about the right shaving cream for me. I'll spend the extra money for the blue stuff that turns into the white foam. It seems to help with irritation even if i'm using a dull blade.
I use cold water also.

Used an electric for awhile (Braun) but didn't think it shaved very close. Switched to blades and was a staunch Mach 3 user. Oddly enough, after getting sick of paying damn near $20 for refills, I switched to the Top Care knock-off of the Mach 3 and I have to admit, it shaves closer than the Mach, no nicks (I was getting one or two with the Mach every now and then), the blades are 1/2 the price, and last twice as long.

I have a Braun electric that works fine for me. Then again I have to squeeze my balls for two days to even think about growing a goatee. If I grew more hair, I think I'd still be happy with it.

I have a Braun (second one after a screen was discontinued) and works great. I have no idea what people are talking about when saying not good for hair after certain length. It has a trimmer. You trim and shave, what's so hard about that? The best time is after a shower and the skin has dried.
I can't be bothered with using a blade unless I had plenty of time, which I never leave myself with. I used to shave when in the shower, no mirror, but why bother?

Call me a fag but after I saw how many uses my wife could get out of the ones they sell to chicks? I buy women's disposable razors and I can get like 10-20 shaves a piece.

i just bought a a braun pulsonic, the one they're advertising now. it works pretty good, you just have to go over the neck a few times.
