Now it says for $275 your getting everything except the bolt? Im not sure if I understand correctly, it says it can be outfited to shoot semi automatically.

In order to do this you would need a compatible bolt? If that is the case, is it easy/worth, it to do?

The allure of the Thompson wears off the minute it's not fully automatic IMHO. There are so many other weapons that would fill this niche for you and shoot straighter and more consistently. You could for instance buy a Beretta CX4 in .45 ACP.

It's an 80% receiver. It means there's a little work you need to do to it before it becomes a complete gun. Never did a Thompson so I don't know what the 20% left is.
