In the last generation Jeep Grand Cherokee thare was a defect with the dual climate controle. After the car gets shutdown all the vent motors go back to the default postion, except the main vent motor sometimes keeps spining after the door totaly closes and after a while the motor snapes the rod that spins the assembly. Its happend on a lot of jeeps and they now have a fix for it. Unfortuenly you have to take apart the dash to fix it so its $800 of labor to put in a new $3 part. Still alot cheeper then buying a new car.
