I was hoping this might turn out well, since it's A.) not a remake of anything, and B.) creepy looking from the trailers.

Not so.

The only enjoyment I've been getting has been the critic lines trashing the movie:

"Shouldn't have been brought to term."

"Stillborn."

"Even for the run-of-the-mill, first of the year horror flick, The Unborn is pretty much a miscarriage."

THe movie was directed by David Goyer who is 0-3 so far directing wise i understand why people would give it a shot but the man fucking blows at directing.

How come buffy the vampire slayer isn't in this one as well? Or is this the well movie? I get confused all these movies with children in black eye shadow confuse me ever so much.

it had all the cliche horror things.
creepy ghost kid, ghosts in mirrors, crab walking/head turning creepy ghosts, lots of bugs in a gross out scene. COME ON! where's the originality.

If he's her unborn twin, how come he looks like he's only 10 years old? Wouldn't the ghost be the same age as her? Why would he show himself as a kid?

Because its fun to trash this movie, incidentally the film is based off of Howard Sterns wife. Nothing like the ole peach cobbler on the kitchen floor to make you throw those baby clothes on the curb.
