This Year, finds Jack three years later, He's been undercover the whole time trying to befriend a terrorist named Salazar. Salazar's brother issues a deadly deal: either Salazar is freed within 5 hours, or he'll unleash a lethal virus on LA that will kill 9 million people within a week. It's Bio-terrorism this year. Kim works for CTU now, and Jack's gonna have a new partner.

I can't wait until tomorrow, I missed this show so bad..

Yeah, I missed a lot of the show, but I did catch the glance she gave that guy when he said something about "Putting the fear into them" <--Or something like that. Plus, when they dumped the bodies. But, she said something about her father, who is her father?

Kim always hot, but working at CTU means less boobies shaking, most likely.

I like the plot and the new additions to the cast. The same Spanish dudes from Desparado. I missed a lot of the show because of the Joe Schmo finale, but it looks like it's going to be another gripping season.

Kim is supposed to be a lot less pointless this year, but I don't buy her being a CTU agent. At least not a computer expert. I mean really. Have her answer a phone, or get people coffee or something, cause this "oh, i'm a geek" thing doesnt work.

I agree about KIM.. if she was this intelligent she wouldn't have almost Molested and killed multiple times like in the last 2 seasons. She wouldn't have been in any of those situations. Now is a hot computer expert. Maxim's models are not computer experts...I have my degree in Computer Information Systems and not one chick in any of my classes was hot.

It got better real quick today. The previews for next week look real good. Too bad we will have to wait for 2 weeks to see what happens at the next episode when the virus is released into california.

Jack has finally hit rock-bottom as a drug addicted undercover super agent with a daughter who barely knows him, no life besides his job, and the blood of many dead innocent people on his hands. Oh, and his only friend, who in part happens to be the leader of the free world, is just going to be a average citizen next season, and a minority average citizen to boot..... (PC Proof ---> KIDDING!) :)

This is what happens:

The guy carrying the virus escapes the subway after Gael's wife shoots and kills Saunders. He then is pursued through traffic as Tony cordinates. The virus guy then goes into a school where Jack and Chase try to find him in the many corridors. Chase fight the guy and he attaches the virus device to his wrist to prevent the terrorist from leaving with it. Jack shots the bad-guy and then they race against time before the thing goes off on Chase's arm. Jack calls for de-arming instructions but they are not adequate. Jack chops Chase's hand off with a hatchet to get the device. Then he sprints to a classroom before it goes off and shoves it in a chemistry lab's sealed container.
The President finds out that his ex-wife is dead. He tells Jack that he is no-longer seeking re-election.

The end is touchy-feely.
