I came across this this list, and it reminded me of some movies I forgot about that scared the hell out of me when I was a kid. I thought some of you may get a kick out of it being Halloween this week.

I would have to go with Poltergiest,that movie totally spooked me when I saw it as a little kid.

My age showin again........ The Exorcist.
Way before all the other slasher and horror
flix. It was awsome then and still is.

I'm with BB1. The Exorcist was pretty terrifying - especially the re-released version with all the additional scenes.

the one that scared the shit out of me when i was a kid was salems lot when that kid was floating outside the window of his brother and banging on the window, also american werewolf in london when he had that nightmare when the aliens came in his house and killed his whole family but the worst one was the shining those two little girls gave me nightmares for awhile as well. thanks for the memories ill be sleeping with the lights on tonight:loll2: :sleeping

I'm with Hairtusseler! That kid floating from Salem's Lot just freaked me out!!! I still get a creepy feeling when I look out a window at night!!
