Fanboys Finally gets a release

Fanboys which has been in development for a long time has finally got a release date, unfortunately its not going to open friday wide, but if the first weekend is good it will get a wide release. If you got no clue about it its about a group of Star Wars geeks who try to break in George Lucas's house to see Star Wars early, there was a big shit storm over this movie cause one friend in the storyline had cancer, and the studio was going to hack the shit out of the movie, luckily fans started a little shit storm and the original movie stands, its got a ton of cameos including Kevin Smith. So if your in the 8 cities that it opens in go see it!!!

I saw like forty five minutes of it at one of those Star Wars fests in LA around a year and a half ago.

It was really solid. It's kind of a shame the shit the Weinsteins pulled with delaying this movie for over a year. I'm definitely going to see it opening weekend, because even if it does great the Weinsteins won't release it wide, trust me I had a friend in "Feast" they pulled the same shit with that movie, but that movie honestly kind of stunk compared to what I saw of "Fanboys".

Yeah I'm pretty sure we'll all have to wait for the dvd. The Weinsteins also did this this with All The Boys Love Mandy Lane (which I saw thanks to the internet, decent flick by the way).

Feast fucking blew. I watched the entire Project Greenlight series on the making of it and was really rooting for it, then I actually saw it. Can't blame them for shelving that.
