Reviewers like to copy each other. Even when they are wrong.
Matrix reloaded was a great movie. It was a little too short and there should have been more dialouge for more of the characters.

I love how the reviewers for the NY POST AND NY DAILY NEWS are both 80 years old and hated it. WELL NO SHIT!!!
Why not have a younger movie reviewer rate the movie. The POST has like 10 different people who do reviews.

I just got back from it.
Here's my review. It is 100 times better than the second, but not as good as the first.
The end.
I did really enjoy it, dispite the fact it was pretty cliched.
BTW, don't bother sitting thru the credits cause nothing cool happens at the end.

Cool thanks for the heads up! I was one of those idiots that sat through 15 minutes of credits of Reloaded to watch a 30 second trailer!!!

THIS MOVIE SUCKS!!!!!:cussing
I was willing to forgive Reloaded its faults if it led up to a good conclusion. Is this all they could come up with?
Half of the movie is made up of battle scenes that are so dark and move so fast, you can't even make out what you're supposed to be looking at.
The answer to all of the questions we were left with at the end of Reloaded can be summed up in one sentence: everything the Architect said was bullshit.
And the ending had half of the audience yelling, "WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?!?!?" What exactly happened to Agent Smith? Is Neo still alive? Who knows? Obviously not the filmmakers. And an even better question is, who cares at this point?
It's best to forget that the sequels ever happened. The Matrix was a great standalone film, and we didn't need all of this crap to spoil the memory of the original.

I enjoyed the move for the action scenes and the spec effects. As a sequel to the original Matrix, it sucks ass being that it had none of the cool pseudo-philosophy, mystery and mythos of the first.
I have the feeling they only wrote 2 hours worth of plot, and at the last minute, realized they needed 4 hours of filler afterwards.

my 3 observations
1. monica belluci has the nicest rack ive ever seen
2. neo vs smith was one of the best fight scenes of any movie (except for the end)
3. smith still is the best character in all the movies.
as far as my questions being answered and any plot they had up until this movie was completely abandoned and as a third movie and finale to a series left you with more questions then at the end of reloaded.

Matrix 1 had the best story and Matrix 2 had the best action scenes.
Matrix 3 is a mindfuck. I liked it but will honestly admit that I tried not to think too hard and follow every plot trick because I do not think many will understand it with teh exception of teh writers.
Riddle me this please [spoiler alert]:
The end result came to the conclusion that the matrix will continue, the machines will use the humans for fuel, but those that got out of the matrix and the humans that were born on Zion will not have to be worried about the machines attacking?
What the hell? I thought their goal was to end machine rule, seems like it was just a stalemate at best.

dont not read if you havent seen it yet
the machines will use the humans for fuel
not exactly which was another thing i didnt quite get. the oracle said what about the others? not refering to the zion people but to the fields and the architect said they would be set free. the she said something to the effect that i have your word and he said in reply of course im not human. well if this is true then where will they get the fuel they need to live ?

the architect said they would be set free
He actually said that those that wanted to leave would be allowed to. Remember that in Matrix 1, Morpheus said that most people on the Matrix weren't ready to be unplugged and would resist it.

In terms of the peace agreement, I think what has been said is true. The Matrix will continue to exist, and some of those who want to be freed will be. Those unplugged realize that the machines can defeat them, so in return for Neo's victory over Smith they won't attack Zion. Although it wasn't said, I wouldn't be surprised if the unplugged will have to agree not to try and unplug everybody, or else they will be destroyed.
As for the Neo/Smith fight, I think I have an idea as to why what happened, happened. The Oracle said that Smith was the opposite, the anthesis, of Neo. Looking at it scientifically, Neo is the positive and Smith the negative. At the end, when Smith tried to transmorgify Neo, in essence he was taking himself, the negative, and combining it with Neo, the positive. Positive and negative equal zero - equilibrium, neutrality. As a result, all of the other negatives associated with Smith were destroyed, along with Neo. The word here is balance. The two balanced each other out and then you are left with zero. The only thing left over was the Oracle. She was the neutron, if you will, that is left after combining a proton and a electron.
Then again, I didn't write the darned thing, so I can't be certain. But no matter. I enjoyed the story and how it ended. I mean you even had balance between the machines and the humans. I think that was the point of the trilogy. The purpose of existence is not to win or lose, but to achieve balance.

1. When Oracle was talking to Architect, asking him if he'd let them be free, I thought she was talking about programs who were to be deleted (like the little girl in the beginning), not humans.
2. Dont forget that Smith merged with the Oracle, and then that Smitty/Oracle combo merged with Neo. How does that fit in with the positive, negative dealie? (which I agree with by the way.)

I liked those explanations, they made sense to me.
Riddle me this:
Apparently the ships have the ability to generate an electromagnetic pulse that knocks the sentinals out. During the attack, when Morpheous's ship enters Zion they use this pulse and knock everything out. My question, if one small ship can do that...why doesn't the central defense of Zion have something like that. The battle could have ended in 2 secs.
Is there an actual reason or is it a "we would not have a really cool CGI battle scene if that was the case."

Well, remember one of those guys said that using that electromagnetic thing in the dock would disrupt all of the defense systems there, so I imagine that line of defense would be used only as a very last resort.

ok, I saw the movie last night, and in one of 3 theaters showing it on a friday night at 7-8pm hour, ours was less than half full, so I am going to assume, only the few people who HAVE to see how this ends and to have a make up for the second garbage pile they threw at us, are going to see this one.
I am glad someone else wonders why not have those EMP things all around the city, and STOP spending their time(money??) on making new stand up machines(those were cool looking, but get rid of those fighting machines) and spend the time putting those EMP things around the city all over, and all spend the time figuring out how to keep their systems up, if the ships can keep running after doing one of those, you can figure out how to re route the city cant you??
Did trinity look even uglier in this one?each one she looked worse and worse! first matrix she was hottie!!! now she is run down uggie!
ok, a question I asked when reloaded came out, DOESNT ANYONE OWN A SEWING MACHINE!!!???? why are they dressed in rags!! they can make these great war machines but no one knows how to knit??
I saw more religious attitude in this like when trinity saw the sun and basically heaven...
If the people of ZION are human, then there is no way they would have believed Neo made it when the machines stopped, they would have taken the advantage to try to either run back farther to hold up or tried to attack then. no one would just say, hey they stopped moving he did it.
what a crock and i wish I could sue.
at least we know now Keanue(sp?) is up for two big pay day roles and two big flops(the same two films i mean), then off to nowheres ville..
hope he knows how to save money now..
As soon as neo went into main fight with smith at end, I knew it would be him dying someway on his own way, because of the whole negative positive thing they talked about all movie.
BUT, is that air you think your breathing??? why was he breathing soooooo hard when Smith was hurting him??it is the MATRIX!!!! no AIR! NEO KNOWS THAT!
GOD I HATE HOLLYWOOD!!
but yes there are ppl who want to stay in the matrix for the body heat energy, remember whats his name, ralphie guy. he wanted back in.
to taste steak...to be rich..hey, somedays I wouldnt mind switching my mind memories, if i believe it is true, then what is to tell me it isnt. if i am having fun in the matrix why nt stay?
life is here for fun right?so if you have miserable life, why not stay in matrix?
it is like playing a video game 24 hrs a day and enjoying it.
sigh, anyone know how to take the red pill and go back??
:gt:

well an emp pulse knocks out electrical equipment which is why they shut the ship down in the first matrix. when they did it in rev the ship was pretty much wasted so it didnt matter.

so shut the whole city down for like five minutes to protect and save thousand sof lives, and the whole life of humans...
sorry was reading my last posts to see what i may not have gotten back to..hehe
seems like better plan of shutting whole city down and restarting it five minutes ltr, than to have chance of losing it to the machines..
call me idiot, but the hollywood writers are worse idiots..
at least do better explaining..
or think up something else!!like they were knocked out early by the machines cutting a power line or something..
Hollywood is a FARMER!!
