Art Carney, who played Ed Norton on early TV comedy "The Honeymooners," has died at age 85.

My favourite piece of dialogue in the Honeymooners between Carney and Gleason was Carney asking if he might smoke, and a disgruntled Gleason answers, I dont care if you BURN! Anyway, besides ALL IN THE FAMILY, the HONEYMOONERS is my fave sitcom of all time!!! I really miss seeing that show, and the Entertainment World will miss a brilliant actor and comedian!

WOW! This is the first I am hearing of it. I love Art Carney, I watched The Honeymooners more for him than Jackie. That is so sad, but he lived a long life, and I am sure it was a happy one. God bless him, and I know he made an impact on my comedic life. As I continue to try to be an Actor/Comedian. He knew comedy in the 50's, and it lasted years. God bless.
