I don't feel like signing up for XM411.com. In the past week I've had horrible signal issues. As soon as I get on I95 it goes in and out like I"m in a tunnel sometimes having "no signal" for minutes at a time. Is anyone else having/had this problem? I have a 5 year old Roady. Do they just shit the bed after a while? I guess I should upgrade but I don't feel like dropping $100 right now on a new radio.

It sounds like you need a new antenna. Do you use the ROADY in your house with success?

Never tried. In house it's just XM online. Can you buy just a new antenna wire/magnet?

I'm pretty sure you can't buy just a replacement wire. but here is a cheap antenna that i have in my car with no problems.

If it happens in the same spot every time, its possible there could be some sort of interference.. My radio cuts out for about 5 seconds in the same spot every day on my way to work and its on the freeway. I dont see anything that could interfere with the signal but it is coming from space so...
