losing old friends

Fucking crazy shit. Yesterday was my second anniversary, and it had to end on a shitty note of finding out an old friend had died that day. I might not have even that badly effected by it, but that is the second one in a week. Another old buddy of mine that I haven't seen in years... I found out last wednesday that he just passed. Shit's bizarre and just too much for me. Makes me angry, and so many other things all at the same time. Fucking shame when people pass in the prime of their lives. It also sucks beyond belief to lose two people in one week. wtf. Sorry, but I had to vent.:icon_conf

what is worse is finding out in an obit... ive had several friends die that i never got to say good buy to for some reason or another, had one die less than 6 hours after i turned him down for a drink

I know how you feel and am very sorry, its sucks. I've lost more friends since high school then I can hardly count. I'm 41 and just last summer a good friend died of an accidental OD. Mixing pills with booze is not a good thing . I really miss him and wish I could have said good bye to him but it never seems to work out the that way . Take care and remember the good times you had with him , and try to really be there for his family as best as you can. Hopefully he was that kind of friend and would do the same for you.
