Every morning, before the show starts, they spell out clearly to anyone with even a minimal understanding of what irony is, the following:

Look at all these rubes in the media repeat their little catch-phrase, calling us shock jocks. They never heard our show, they failed to do the least their jobs require and listen for a half hour before reporting on us. You, the listener, rise above these people, who are catering to the lowest of the low in our society, and come into our club, where you will know better than to think we're shock-jocks.

This cunt and others like her are shit journalists writing for Internet blogs precisely because they don't take pride in their work, and bother understanding something before they write about it. How can a supposed journalist not understand how people like Howie in the 80's and OnA now pulled the curtains back and exposed the hypocrisy especially in the media, but sometimes even in society as a whole, buy simply going on air and being honest. (Howard's strongest bit back in the day was, as far as I can tell from old youtube clips, to have media bigwigs on, or go on their shows, and drive them out of the studio or off the air by asking honest questions they were afraid to answer).
