Carson's show has never once been live. If you mean in front of an audience, they still shoot some interviews like that, like Jay's now. But because they're soon going to have Leno/Conan/Fallon, all typical talk shows, they wanted to change up the format. So it's a mix of in studio interviews with an audience along with out of the studio interviews.

I like it though, it's more laid back. No more Carson Daly in a suit, which just didn't fit him.

That was a good story Anthony brought up. They did not get much time on the show and they seemed to have to rush the conversation. It was a cool appearance though. No HOWIE was in the conversation which was a good move. Too bad they had to cut the Joy P. line out.

Eh... They were alright. Opie did look very uncomfy though. I think it's difficult to be interviewed as a pair away from their environment. Fallon does seem to genuinely like them though. They just don't really have anything to promote or push and they haven't done anything like Homeless Shopping Spree or the Teen Voyeur bus in ages. Those kind of events would probably be more interesting to a new audience than shitting on women and Regis impressions.

I thought it was ok, but I really didn't laugh much. Most of the jokes were just stuff they said on the show and you could see the audience really didn't get much of it. I'm glad they got on, and hope they go again but it wasn't the appearance it could have been. Aside from Fallon getting them on again I sort of doubt their booking is really trying to get them again.
