I like to think I have a vary wide range of music appreciation. A little bit of everything EXCEPT for salsa and techno. As an exercise in musical exploration and to bring myself up to speed with this tramp, I just went and watched 3 Lady Gaga videos: Poker Face, Just Dance and Beautiful Dirty Rich. I don't listen to any radio that would expose me to this music and I don't watch TV anymore so there's no chance of getting exposed to it there. Whatever 202 has played is about my full exposure to this whore so I decided I'd go listen to it to form a more full, honest opinion.

It sounds like everything else. It's elements of things like Madonna, Maria Carey. Amy Weinhouse, all that shit. It's overly produced pop. The lyrics aren't amazing while at the same time aren't the worst I've heard. ( I mean I'm a huge Police fan but Sting repeats himself for 3 minutes sometimes.)

Problem is I don't hear the "amazing talent." She's not doing anything that all her peers aren't doing now. She doesn't do anything with electronic instruments and loops that people like Trent Reznor couldn't out do her on while in a heroine coma.

I can't tell if she's a very good singer because there's gotta be like 20 layers of vocals at some points. A point in her favor is I didn't hear that fucking auto tuner used anywhere.

So in summation, my opinion hasn't really changed. She's not amazing, this is some sort of Euro Pop club shit that will make her famous for a time and then people will move on.
