The singing, unintelligible ramblings. the conversation being derailed by random comments and facts about nothing. Joe took some serious shots to the head in his day, Tippy has done too many shots....

Just wondering if I was the only one who made this comparison

You would talk like that if you have been punched in the head over 7000 times. Give the man a break. He is a freakin Legend!!! In no way should this great American Icon be compared to old Golden Bunzzz.

I agree. Its actually quite sad to hear Smoking Joe in that condition.

I found the interview quite entertaining myself. He doesn't take
himself too seriously like some sports figures.

He's still a legend. and while his interview was whimsical and random at times, it wasn't an embarrassment.

nice to see an edition of Sam's "Backstage with O&A" segment not centered on mocking Erock and Steve.

I wasnt mocking him, he is a legend. But come on, even the boys took shots at him (strokin joe...lol) and the boooooo this stinks while he was singing...get over your selves people, I am sure Joe will never read (if he can,that is,,lol) this thread.

Just asking if his voice and demeanor reminded you of Tippy.

Bring Joe back in and have him watch a scene from Sophie's Choice. That should solve this mystery.

Ali may have been physically crippled but most say he still has his wits, even if he can't show it. I think poor Joe had a good portion of his knocked out of him.
