I found an iPhone for Stern fans, I a few other radio shows but why hasn't anyone made a O&A one? If I knew how to make an app I would. Love to a feeback app to make it easy to send feedback. Maybe a cool soundboard app! Anything! There has to be some fans out there that can make apps!
I will go ahead and say it before others...
Worst Topic ever!

I thought someone would have created an instant feedback app. There was a mac widget for instant feedback that I used to use on my old ass G4. Seems like it would be easy to rewrite it for the iphone, since it basically uses a stripped down version of OS X. I wish I knew how to make apps, I'd certainly try it.

it is supposedly real easy to make apps
I tried the widget the other day and it gave me some error code like it got messed up since they are not on FM anymore
I thought it went to the same place as the link up top here went but maybe not

The developer kit is also very expensive.

Stern probably has a up to date website, so I guess you think O&A need one of those too?

Can't afford one huh?
It's ok, I'd be bitter too if I couldn't have one.

Maybe some of us just don't like AT&T. Around here AT&T blows.

It was a joke.
And yes, I can afford one. However, I'm locked into a 2 year contract with Sprint.

Developers license is a hundred bucks but apps are not all that easy to build. In the process of developing a game right now (5 months in). I've loaded it with O & A references... Look for it in August. It's called Vampire Prophecy

Aren't they supposed to do an XM/Sirius iPhone app soon? I can't wait to get rid of my Inno and just use the 3G network isntead around town. I could go back to a single radio instead of 3.

because O&A fans aren't smart enough to make apps :)

The offical Sirius XM iPhone app will probably come out when the 3.0 software/harware is announced in the meantime you can use a App called Pocket Tunes to streams XM on your iPhone/iTouch

For an experienced developer, it's pretty easy to make an app.
I wrote a game in about 2 weeks, having never touched a Mac, Xcode, or Objective-C before in my life. (I've been a Microsoft developer my entire career).
Yeah, also 99 bucks to join the dev program is correct.
I could definitely do it, but need to make money right now. I might give it a shot in a month or so.

I use this all the time. It's a great app. Eats a lot of battery though but what else is new.

Your right. I guess "App" is a pretty subjective term. Our app is a 12hr game with over 100 unique illustrations, 10 cut videos, 15 animated vector characters and 30 iphone intuitive puzzles. Screen cap with one of many O&A Easter eggs below.

Looks really great so far. I think the O&A iPhone app would be a lot simpler than that!
What did you use graphics library-wise? I ended up using Cocos2D, which really made things easy, and I could live with the limitations.
Other questions. I hope you are selling this with all of the work you put in. Are you releasing a full version only, or also a limited free trial?

Probably the best phone out there. Too bad it's exclusive to AT&T, or I would have one

Is there an iPwn? Or only iPone?
I would be really interested in an iPwn.

Im the designer so I dont know too much about the programming side but we're using CoreGraphics (w/ Quartz2D) and CoreAnimation. Taking time to build a good framework that we can use again. Yeah, we are selling it but Im thinking we definitely go with a Free "Lite" version including the first puzzle or two.

Good job, I like the look.
Yeah, I'm a few weeks away from release (just need to polish up graphics, test, etc) and am debating on pricing and free version.
