I was watching Going Berserk for the first time tonight(because I'm broke till friday dammit) and it sucked. However, 2 things made the movie for me.

1) 12 minutes in an old lady says to John Candy "you're fat" then she says "you must eat like a pig". All I could think is what a great E-Rock drop.

2) about an hour in John Candy and his friend go to see a back alley shrink.... Teds psychiatry.

Anyone else find that u cant watch a movie now without seeing show refs?

a while back jay moore was saying how much Rage Against The Machine sucks and said "we're white, we live in berevly hills, we millionaires, FUCK THE GOVERNMENT!!!" I was never a fan of RATM but I did enjoy some of their songs but everytime I hear any of their songs I always think of how douchey they are.


On a positive note the show did get me back into watching back to the future.

I know refer to any woman that I see that is doing something dumb, rude or just annoying as a "cunt". My wife hates the word but has resigned herself to the fact that "cunt" is the new "bitch" in my vocabulary.

I can't watch any movie that the show references without laughing my ass off and of course no birthday party is safe since they started the Paul Ruebens thing from 30 Rock. I was at a restaurant on saturday eating dinner with my wife when they brought out a birthday cake for somebodys little burden. My wife looked at me in horror when I started saying the line "thank you, thank you all dear friends.." I chickened out on finishing it.

I never took notice to how bad the acting in twister was (even though Phillip Seymore Hoffman one of my favorite actors is in it) untill they did the bit on the movie. I watched it recently and Bill Paxton or Pullman which ever one is in the movie is terrible, and so is every one else.

I must've missed Mohr's rant, but I've felt that way ever since they did a song for the "Godzilla" soundtrack. Nothing more crassly corporate than Hollywood's descecration of a beloved international film icon.
