I'm sure we collectively have an encyclopedic knowledge of film and tv.
the Quentin Tarantino Top Gun homosexuality monologue from "Sleep With Me" was great to hear on the radio.
Given Jimmy's love of Alan Alda, I was reminded of a great moment in Woody Allen's Crimes and Misdemeanors.
Alda plays an egotistical comedy director who makes a shitload of money. Woody plays a low-rent filmmaker who only gets a gig shooting an ass-kissing documentary about Alda's character (whom he resents) because it is his brother in law.
My favorite moment is when Alda tries to get profound about comedy "If it bends...."

(it's followed by a scene of woody in the film-cutting room watching this and saying "what a pretentious asshole")
I just thought it might be a funny clip whenever O, A, J or their guests get into one of those discussions about what makes comedy work. because even the funniest people in the world sound pretentious when they get philosophical about it.
