I watched the whole thing live the other night online. We all know what happened to the last one we sent up in 99 some software prob. The brits cant contact the one they sent up and the russians sent up 6 of them that never made it.

If you think how far that thing had to travel, then burn through the atmosphere..... open a parachute at 10,000 miles an hour....fire rock boosters to slow its self down..... cut its self loose at like 100 miles an hour and bounce to a stop and it landed in the crater they wanted it to. wow

Theres another one coming in 3 weeks right behind this one. Its going to land on the other side of mars. I hope that one makes it.
