I'm probably the only Ravens fan here, but just in case I'll start a thread. First story?
Ravens' first round pick holds out (http://www.baltimoreravens.com/News/Articles/2009/07/Oher_Holdout_Is_Official.aspx)

BTW Don...Joe Flacco was robbed of ROY honors I think. He should have shared the honor with Matt Ryan.
The wife and I pull for the Ravens in the AFC...she is a Silver Spring MD native.
Good luck this season!

Make a Dolphins thread. I know there are several Dolphins fans here, you'd have at least as much company as us Ravens fans. Show those Steelers, Eagles and Giants fans that the world doesn't revolve around them...

I'm shocked the Ravens are putting up as many points as they are. Admittedly their only impressive win was over the Chargers, but this week is a big test on the road against the Patriots.

They need some help on the corners, but other than that, they're looking as good as I've ever seen them look.
And it's good to finally have someone to replace Vinny Testaverde as the best QB the franchise ever had.
(Yes, I know McNair was better but he had his best years elsewhere.)

Good thing he wasn't doing that to Tom Brady. He'd get a 15 yard penalty and a fine if he spoke up.
Fuck the NFL officials.

It almost sounds like your blaming the refs.

The refs didn't lose the game for the Ravens, they just spotted the Pats 14 points.

Blaming the refs, no. Blaming the ticky tack rules, yes.
Believe me, I'm not one of these guys that yell about putting a dress on the quarterback. Many people say that and its all fun and games until you're watching a game with two back up quarterbacks. That being said, those were two bullshit calls.
However ,the Ravens still have to play to win the game. Given the history of how some Raven players act when they something bad happens, they let those two calls get in their head. Plus, Mark Clayton did drop that pass.

The Ravens have a history of calls going against them, so wouldn't that get into your head too? I can't think of a team that has had worse officiating against them in the past 10 years.
As far as playing to win, if the Pats hadn't been spotted 14 points, Clayton sucking wouldn't be a problem.

I understand what you're saying. But eventually if you're a professional team, you have to overcome the bullshit calls going against you.
