OK, so elections are coming up for my state next week and I still don't know who I'm going to vote for. Anyone here have any thoughts? All I know so far is:

Not Dean (too crazy; he really hasn't given any solid ideas about what he's going to do or how he's going to do it. It seems like his whole campaign is "Bush sucks" - which I happen to agree with, but there has to be something more to a president than that).

Not Kucinich (too wussy; I'm not saying that I was completely pro-war, but this guy's nuts).

Not Sharpton (he's a reverse racist and has no real credentials - no explanation necessary).

So, in no order, I could see myself voting for Kerry, Edwards, Lieberman, or Clark. Help me out, please.

John Edwards. He is a straight up man. He does not have a secret agenda. I just think he is the most honest out of all the choices. If Kerry gets the nomination I would not mind, but I will be voting for Edwards.

My first choice was Lieberman, but if Kerry gets the nomination I'll back him.

These creeps suck, all of them! Kerry is a spoiled little bitch, these guys are a f-ing joke next to GW. I mean please, for our country's sake VOTE GEORGE BUSH! OR DON'T VOTE AT ALL! We are on the verge of getting Bin Laudden and we need the GW troops to finish up Iraq. After that the dem's can step forward and may get my vote, i'm open to any politician who I feel is "FITTING" right now the current pres need's to stay and finish the job.

Out of that group, I think Leiberman is the lesser of the evils.
He seems to be pretty honest and straight forward, which means he doesn't have a snowball's chance in Hell.
Too bad.

I'm not a Democrat but if someone held a gun to my head and forced me to vote for one of them, I'd vote for Joe Lieberman for the reasons stated above.

I'm not a registered Demo. because the Rep. party has a
stranglehold on Delaware County. So I can't vote Demo. in
our primary. It really sucks, but if you ever need a favor, you
are screwed if you are a Demo. here. I'll have to wait until
the primaries to make my voice heard. Politics bites!:arrrh:

Wow, you guys like Lieberman? He is the biggest bitch in the world! We would get no respect from foreign countries with his fragile FCC promoting ass in office.

By the way, I was talking about the Democratic vote. So, Bush does not enter into the equation. I have to say that Bush has to have four more years to fix this mess he started. His father never got a chance to fix his mess, I think the people of this country need to give this Bush a chance.

Once again, out of the DEMOCRATS I have to go with John Edwards.

sorry man I just saw the thread and didn't really think about the post I put up, it was just such a huge story over here b/c of the NH thing.

If I was voting I would vote Dean, he has a passion, he may seem crazy but he really want's it and I think he's better than 'em all.

DUH! My bad. In the primaries in Pa. you can only vote in your
party. Meant to say I can only really voice my opinion in the
main election in Nov. I vote in every election, but I hate that
in the primaries I only have the Rep. canidates to chose from.
But if you're not a Rep. in DELCO, you're effed. My kid works
for the county and if we weren't registered Rep. he probably
wouldn't have his job.

EDWARDS? You mean the ambulance chaser? He is HONEST? He made his millions convincing 12 people(who couldn't get out of jury duty) to believe that his poor victims were screwed by the big bad corporations...

Leiberman is too pro STONG NATIONAL defense, and pro Isreal to be nominated....

Funny all these SO CALLED ANTI-WAR, ANTI-BUSH people are voting for a WAR vet.(Kerry) who voted for this war and voted for Clinton to bomb the shit out of Serbia and Saddam............

Hmmm I guess marring some rich old hag has it's advantages.

Howard Dean, hands down. He was my govenor for 8 years and did a fantastic job.

He wants a stronger military which I am for.

He wants to roll back the Bush tax cuts in order to put cuts in place that actually put money in the hands of the middle class.

He wants to provide health care to all children so they can get their immunizations and such

His wife is an intelligent, well respected physician (yes, first lady does matter).

Dean knows that the Every Poor Child Left Behind act is a joke. Schools not performing, put a program in place that allows the upper middle class kids to change schools while the poor and middle class are left in a failing school (great move W)

As far as the lunitic rant. All of the reporters that were in the room said the same thing. There were bad accoustics, no one could here him, everyone kept shouting for him to speak up so he was finally yelling and got into it.

I like Lieberman as well.
Kerry scares me, there is something there that I can't put my finger on.
Clark is a Clintonite puke. He really had to screw up for his good friend Bill to fire him.

Anyone but Bush baby. We have to stop this downward spiral before its to late. On our way to a $10 trillion deficit thanks to him.

What is any O&A fan doing supporting Lieberman? Doesn't anyone remember that he's the one that was complaining a few years ago about violence and sex in the media? And pushed for the V-chip to be mandatory in all TVs? And wanted the FCC to crack down on "indecent and obscene" broadcasts? This guy is a pro-censorship asshole! I can't believe anyone on this site would support him!

I did not know that about Lieberman.
Besides, I would not "support" any of these assholes. They are all either scary or creepy.

I hear ya there. In must of Bucks County the Repubilcans in charge, and even though I am a Republican I have no problem saying that many of them suck ass. Our Republican Congressman Jim Greenwood is a liberal, actually scratch that, he's a radical. And F-U Arlen Sphincter while I'm thinking of it.

I want to go on record as saying that I know Joe Lieberman, and have worked on some of his campaigns. He's a fine man, with some fine ideas. But I totally disagree with him and his pal William J. Bennett on censorship of ANY kind, and have told him the same thing. My point is that any candidate has good points, and bad. It's our job to figure out who we agree with enough to vote for.

Plus he doesn't stand a chance at winning the nomination, or beating Shrub in an election.
