Ok basiclly I'm paying close to 70 bucks a month for a phone I close to never use, I'm finally sick of it and have been trying to cancell it online. I have verizon and know I'm gonna be stuck using the phone to do it. Anyone canceled their service? I've been roaming aimlessly on their stupid website, can you do it online and how? I would really prefer to do it online.

I just did a quick search for how to cancel online and it looks like you can only cancel by calling them.

They want you to talk to a live person so you can get the "retention" speech.

usually have to call 10 different numbers and speak to 20 different people a couple times, even if they say its cancelled (basically bug the shit out of them til they get tired of your ass) make sure they dont keep charging you, if you got a credit card, get the card company on their asses too. (cricket's the worst). phone companies suck donkey dick.

Got rid of land line many years ago. Waste of money. You need to call a few times to make sure it's off though. If you dont micromanage EVERYTHING these days you will get fucked. People just dont do their jobs anymore. I think the downward spiral started with affirmative action putting unqualified, incapable workers in important positions. I hate having to follow up on EVERYTHING but ya gotta.

i dont think its people not doing there jobs. but actually doing there job. not letting you leave, or just ignoring your requests to leave so they can just keep taking your money.

Are you smash your phone after you cancel? If you do, make sure you video tape it. That'll show 'em.
