My job is transferring me to Boston soon, and I was wondering if anyone had advice as to where to live, or what normal prices for apartments would be in/around the city. I'd be working in the city (our company has offices in 4 hotels in the city, some downtown, others a little farther out). I already know that the temperature will be drastically different (it's 70 here now and cloudy).
Thanks

Also try to keep your Wife / Girlfriend away from anyone who might be related to any of the Kennedy's, (especially the males).

I'll be working in the Copley Place area (Back Bay). The place I was thinking of moving to is in Charlestown, near the Charlestown Navy Yard. What's the closest entrance to the T around there? I'm looking forward to getting back to the Northeast.

You would have to take the Orange Line (the Sullivan Square or Community College stop) then switch to the Green Line at North Station and get off at Copley.

Just know that Orange Line you must beware of :shoot3: It's not THAT dangerous unless you're a drug dealer/buyer or something like that; but if you're a business man chances are you'll be OK.
Also don't visit the Bunker Hill Monument EVER, it STINKS! Especially if you or whoever you're with has asthma. Boy that inconvenience sure did roon our field trip when a girl in my class almost died from climbing like 10,000 friggin steps! It was funny watching her as well as the fat kid struggle though :loll2:

Dude I don't have an accient at all, Ny accients are bad, Jersey is horrible. It all depends on what town you live in around here. Yea stay away from Roxburry, I'd say look in Brookline.
Become a sox fan, and hey you will be living in a town that the Suberbowl champs are from never forget that.
As far as bars go= Cactus Club and Daisy Buchannan's are both great, if you want to meet a pat's or sox player check out The Rack or The Place. DO NOT GO TO ANY CELTICS GAME! We don't like them .

What are the cable companies there? Where do you go for concerts (small and large). We've got the house of blues and hard rock live here.
