Hopefully he can stay injury free. I was hoping we would get Wistrom from the Rams instead. If he can get back to his rookie form this will be a great deal for the Eagles.

Wow... Never saw that coming. Didn't even think the Eagles were in the running. He's a fantastic player but that's a pretty big IF for him to stay healthy. And I hear the Eagles are the front runners fro trading for TO... Mortensen thinks it should be done by Friday if it's going to happen.

Being a Titans fan myself I say good riddance. Kearse's backup (Carlos Hall) played just as much as him the last two years and had the same number of sacks (11) as Kearse in the same time. Enjoy a player who will come out every other down with every bruise he gets. All that talent and no heart. I am happy the Titans refused to sign him and let him go, Better to resign 5 quality players than have them all leave and keep one injury prone former star.

they did say on sports center that he was the top free agent out there.

i think that its a good signing...

he was pretty much the best FA available on everyones list.
The signing is pending a physical, so it could change if there is something that the eagles doctors don't like

Tough loss, but you don't know how well he'll heal from the injury. There's talk that the steelers might have to let Gildon go to save some room under the cap... If that does happen and he goes to the birds, then it is a wash...
