Hey I'm no fucking poet, but I got uberly bored and I had nothing to do. Thought I must try it out... enjoy I guess.
Loneliness is unbearable torture.
I’ve wondered in the dark forest, hungry with no sunlight,
for years on end. I escaped the local way of life years ago
yet I have been approached several times by locals
who want to feed me and offer me drink. I reject their advances,
for I know their offerings can’t quench my hunger.
Wise men told me of a beautiful princess who can lift
the curse of emptiness upon me, a princess that rejects
the traditions of the locals.
I must embark on a journey to find this princess, a
journey that may take 3 millennia to fulfill. I yearn
for her every moment with anguish as I ponder
what is to come.
I feel the time will come that my steadfastness
in the face of torment will be rewarded, but the
mountains that I must treck on this path of time to love
have only become greater and more agonizing. I eagerly
wait for the day that I reach my destination to finally
look into the eyes that may free me from the desolation that has
plagued me.
