bad stuff man, I've been on it for 18 years for an anxiety condition. I hate the shit. go ahead, take it for a few weeks... then watch yourself get siezures when you cant get some for a few days.

My prescribed dosage: 1mg 4 times a day.

I dont get whatever effects you get from it since its actually working on anxiety on me. I was told by my doctor it would take me 2 years of tapering it down to get off it and it wouldnt be fun

stay away .. its the devil

some of the side effects I get from it:

short term memory loss
disassociation
mood swings
confusion
loss of interest
etc

(these side effects are 24/7)

miss a dose after being on it for a while? you forget who the fuck you are and dont know what your doing.

I started suffereing from anxiety at an early age of like 12 heriditery sp my mom, to stop taking that shit is a nightmare and u will end off worse than when u started. i tried prozac when it first came out more for sleeping because im an insomniac like my old man. what a disaster that was. the pills kept me up for a week, i could wack my bag or try and bang my old lady for hours and couldnt cum, and i walked around dazed and floaty all the time.

I stopped taking it after three weeks and never took anything again. To those who have anxiety try and hang in their stay off that shit, but to those who are on it just be careful as sting says.

A nice low dosage valium is much better u take it when your anxious and no side effects and not habit forming. Mine is called lorazepam 1 mg... hope this helps somebody:hi2:

Klonapin, or the generic name clonazepam should lower the anxiety. Just dont drink or mix with other medications. Still quite addictive from what I hear.

I have anxiety, but have never seeked medical attention. I guess that is why I am such an alkie. I tried Xanax. I took the four chips, one in the morning, and one at night. It lasted me 10 days. I didn't see a difference. I still had my same thoughts, and no medicine is going to take those thoughts away. I try to control it by using my mind, which works occasionally, but not always. I have a way of telling myself, "Listen, everyone else you know is fine, so are you, relax" It really does work sometimes. I wish I could be a BLA person who worries about nothing. But, I remain a person who cares about too many people and things...

I was given it a couple of times to chill out before medical procedures.
I can't even take a cat scan without freakin out.
It worked good for me, but I have never taken it long term, and
I don't really like to take any drug for a long time.

ok first let me just say im not your average person when it comes to using things that are habit forming. I can smoke a pack of newports and i wont touch another for a year. I can recognize if i am starting to have a problem with anything......and i have friends and a stepfather that will fracture my jaw in many places if i get a habit or do any serious drugs such as coke or dust. that said lets move on

Second any drug i have ever done pot to valium to xanax to percetes to vicodin i have never never never ever paid for except alcohol. Why because i dont go out of my way to get fucked up and im a cheap bastard lol.

Third yeah i thought xanax was great but ill never take one again unless someone gives it to me.

Fourth there are some things i REFUSE to do (besides the obvious coke, herion, etc) i will not take halluciongenics because i have a very disturbed mind and had a pretty tramatized past that im afraid ill be fd up forever.
