I've never linked on a board before, so bare with me. Anyway, a few weeks ago, I was bored, so i cut together a little tribute to Norton. I did another one as well, but I wanna see if this works first.

i tried to add a url to the norton image. i just uploaded an mp3 to an angelfire server and tried to link it for you guys. so its a direct link to the anglefire site.

addy in your message between url, /url .
just put the url and /url in brackets[ ].or use the
hyperlink spot in the post space. Looks like a blue globe,
and if you put the cursor on it it says "insert link".

i think norton did add a lot to the show but i don't think the boys needed him for a great show. the thing i did like most about norton though was he knew when to shut up and let the boys to their thing.

I hope you don't mind, but I added it to a line up of Norton bits I found across the internet and threw them into a folder and decided to stream a "Best Of Jim Norton" channel.

I also would like to thank Fast Freddy, once again, for providing much of the Norton material in this list. His "Your Mom's Box (3 cd set)" that he has on his (*********.com) site was the greatest resource for this material.

The "Norton Roast intro" is the audio from the recent show at Carolines, but the 3 part "Jim Norton Roast" audio files were taken from the O&A show when they roasted Jim Norton's old 1993 tape of his old comedy act in studio. That was bundled in Fast Freddy's (3 cd) set. Then I placed that "STD Norton Tribute" to get you ready for a 62 minute tape from a Live Norton Cleveland show that someone sent me. The audio quality is a bit rough during that live show, but it is classic uncensored Jimmy GOLD. Then I finish it with the several other Jimmy bits that are part of Freddy's set.

It just got done airing the entire series of Norton bits, so it is repeating from the beginning again. So your "Jim Norton Tribute" is due to air in about an hour and 15 minutes. I am guessing around 4:45pm (today Sunday)... you should have plenty of time to connect to it with this easy software.
