Let's "Party like it's 1999"!

First off, I would like to thank FedexEd (oavirus.com) and Freddy (*********.com) for providing me the library of lost O&A shows from the early months of 1999.

I took the shows from each of their sites and threw them all into one folder. Then I fired up my WinAmp player and began to stream that entire folder on the O&A channel I set up on that Streamer P2P software...

Like peewee said, thank you... everyone, who made these files possible. We can do some amazing things when the entire O&A community works together and we're not fighting about stupid things. I respect everyone on that list immensely and I am sure there are more that were not mentioned.

I try and do things that will help the O&A community in general. If it is simplifying a way for someone to view a video clip, seeing something O&A related that was aired on Tough Crowd, or finding something that someone is looking for. We all do what we can to help out... and that is what is so cool about this hardcore group of fans.

This "Streamer P2P" software, was only found because I was looking to help out Sexbagel to find a way for him to listen to Stern that was pulled from Florida. It bothered me that a key member of our community was being left out of any broadcast material. So I found that software and sent him the link to it. I continued checking it out, and began to think about how this could help O&A as well. I also thought about another member of our O&A community and how it could help him by cutting the costs of his 3 month broadcast fees... so my hopes, Blue, was that it would help you and the O&A community in general.

I'm not great at thanking everyone who helped out and usually end up slighting many individuals. I usually group O&A material together and make it easy for people to go to one place to get their O&A fix without all the bullshit. I've stepped on many toes, but I hope I still have a genuine respect from the O&A community in general, because I never do things to be malicious in any way, and only do things to help everyone.

We all have massive egos in this community and it is so easy to bruise one of them without thinking. When Diablundt found that "Virus Spreader" software, I put my ego aside and truly thanked him for sharing this with the ENTIRE community. Finally the walls were coming down between the message boards and we were all working together for the good of Opie and Anthony. When we work together like this, some amazing things can happen.

I am hoping that people can do the same with this new "Streamer P2P" software... put your ego to the side and just try it. Forget who found it, and just use it as a tool to help spread the virus even further. I saw one stream pop up yesterday that I did not create that was Opie and Anthony related. So there may be multiple O&A channels very soon.

Sblueman... I concider you a great friend and I respect all the amazings things you have done for all of us. I hope I never do anything to piss you off because you have always been number one in my book for staying head and shoulders above the rest. So please... check out this software and think about including an "Sblueman channel" on it. At least, PM me and let me know what problems you may see with this software and why we should not embrace it.

well said paul, i wanted to thank everyone in my above post because i feel like i take so much from the o&a community, and i a truely thankful. i have limited resources but would be willing to help in anyway possable, all you guys have to do is let me know.

I think maybe I should have added a smiley after my post, it was not a response in anger or of feeling slighted. The reason I have not checked out the peer to peer streaming program is for two reasons:

* I just have not had the free time to set it up lately
* When O&A do come back on the radio, I might be pulling out of the SU game anyway.
