I need help with ratings!

hey guys, this is my first post and i need help. does anyone have the ratings for the show in new york or philly from 2002? i need them for a research paper on o&a and their importance to radio. if anyone could help i'd really appreciate it. thanks.

Try contacting each stations sales department directly.
Ratings are done by independent companies, and to get the numbers you have to be a subscriber to their service. All stations subscribe to all services (Arbitron- being the respected radio source). The idea is to use the most flattering ratings in their ad sales presentations. Therefore the only place you might find that information is through the sales department at the station.
Bear in mind, I don't think OnA were ever the #1 show in NYC (it's usually a news station). However, through the magic of statistical demographics, they were the #1 show during the evening drive slot for men aged 18-34 (which, by the way is the best group to be #1 with).

If you're looking for astounding numbers, check with the Cleveland station WXTM 92.3. In their last book in Cleveland O&A had a share of 25.
