Infinity Response To Opie & Anthony Stunt Going Public
From Radio and Records:
Portions of the company's Oct. 11, 2002 response to a FCC demand for detailed information about how the former WNEW/New York afternoon duo's infamous "Sex for Sam" promotion received management approval will now be given a public view, as the five commissioners granted in part a journalist's Freedom of Information Act request to view the reply. Infinity also provided the names of those involved in the promotion in its note to the commission, and provided copies of all documents related to the planning of the contest. Infinity sought confidential treatment of all personal information — including nonpublic e-mail addresses and phone numbers and copies of driver's licenses — along with corporate information that Infinity argued could harm its competitive position. While the commissioners agreed that certain information should be omitted, they ultimately ruled that as long as sensitive information was redacted, the documents could be released. Infinity now has 10 days to either release the documents or take the issue to court. A company spokesman declined to comment pending a review of the order by Infinity attorneys.

Not for nothing, but I'd agree with the person saying it's Psycho Mark. The old thing at the bottom said "FU Ben, gak gak gak", and they always used to talk about Mark using up their PBA cards when he was still on the show (no idea which days - I remember one of them was the day Ant and Rick took Spaz outside in his Boy Scout scostume and let people insult him). Mark's apparently already told people he's quitting his Fox job and returning to the show when O&A get back; maybe he's posting it or he's telling the person putting it up what to say?
