Hello to all! Need Rich Vos show appearance dates on O & A

Hello Wackbag members!

I'm new to this forum so please excuse the newbie-type question. I need some help in finding which shows Rich Vos appeared on. I have about 350 full shows on CD but finding any with Rich Vos has been a challenge, weird since he seemed to be on the show so often.

Come to think of it, I'd love if someone had an index telling who was on the show day to day. I'd love to also find the show where the boys confronted Richard Jeni about going on the Stern show. I remember hearing that one live and almost turning it off it was so uncomfortable. Truly cringe!

I loved the show but it certainly got kicked up a notch whenever he appeared. I can't tell you how many times I've listened to the Vos roast where Patrice, Mercurio and Norton just savaged Vos's old comedy tape, especially nice was how vicious Vos was towards Mercurio.

I miss WNEW talk radio more than anything, even the dreaded Don and Mike show. A fascinating book on this station's 'hot talk' period has yet to be written but it will kill if someone ever writes it and tells what really went on during this insane time.

The RIchard Jeni show was 11/19/01. (don't know if it's kosher to post this) To find Vos shows, Click here for review section at OA.net (http://opieanthony.net/modules.php?name=Reviews). In the search spot, enter "vos" and you'll get a ton (doing this myself, I refound the 5-31-2001 show, which Vos kills on). You can use their database to search for anyone, and find which shows they were on (it's incomplete, but it seems like more than half are covered).

Vos is the best guest the show has, IMO.

Many many thanks for the help there! The search was perfect for what I need. I went through every one but couldn't find a review or date for the show where Vos rips apart the Philly swingers. Any idea? Thanks again for the help, its much appreciated!

Not sure of the date (that was hysterical, so if anyone finds it, let us know); I know you can get the isolated clip on oDC by searching for vos.

I just listened to the 3/4/02 show, Vos and Patrice are in the studio about halfway through the show.

Best line - Vos calling Jeff Norris the "kung foo Carrot Top"

In looking through the Studio Guests forum on this site I found a clue to the date of the Vos Vs Philly Swingers show. Follow this link:

Post #7 by Armymad has a picture of one of the swingers and says thank God Vos was in the studio that day. I scanned the show for that day (going by the posting date) and Vos wasn't on it. I'm guessing it must have been around that time? I do have a long clip (about 37 minutes) from that day but the whole show must have been even better!
