The Geocities "oa2k4" mystery?

I need to start a thread about this subject and possibly get some questions answered.

If your just happening about this subject, let me bring you up to speed. This was posted in a thread late Monday night...

Then again, speculation seems to be running wild, so maybe the person who made this knows ZERO.

I explained many times this geocities site is NOT mine and I do not know who is updating this site with new sound files every night. I've chatted with Sexbagel about this, who has connections at Foundry, and he insists nobody there knows where this came from.

I know it's not mine... Sexbagel says it's not his... then WHO'S IS IT?

We have some creative minds on this board... we should be able to figure this out. "Radioguy" recently provided me with a zipped folder of the raw geocities page in it's complete form. I uploaded it to the folder I have been storing these new "oa2k4" files in...

Poke around that folder and see if you can find a piece of evidence I may have overlooked. There must be something in those raw files that will help us track the source.

Listen to the sound clips themselves, and give me some idea who would produce something like this? Sexbagel says the sound quality sounds like these were broadcasted on the radio and that is why he feels a fan did it. However... it has to be a fan with quite an elaborate mixing sound board... don't you think? These clips sounded like something O&A would put together as part of their opening sound byte sequence. These are clips that are placed together to show a feeling or emotion that may be rattling around in their heads right now.

When someone posted that email writings from Opie many months ago, it was Opie's feeling from the days S4S3 went down... and people questioned it's origins. Why would Opie send that to a fan? But another question nagged us more... How the hell could a fan make those words up? It was just too much knowlege from that day NOT to be factual.

I ask you to treat these audio files the same way. Do you really think I have the ability to come up with shit like this? Having only limited radio experience at my college radio station from back in the 80's... I wouldn't know the first thing about throwing these clips together so seamlessly.

If it's NOT ME... then WHO?

Why couldn't this be from O&A... god knows they've had months and months of free time on their hands to specifically craft these audio files to announce their return... WHY THE HELL WOULDN'T IT BE THEM?

I listened to all 3 clips. I thought the most telling was the first one. A lot of different sources, and very cleanly edited. I have a background in sound re-enforcement, and this is a very professional job. Somebody would have to have access to a lot of Media clips to pull this off, and knowledge of the Dru Boogie Mixes to make it sound authentic. If it's not an inside job, which I'm not saying that it is..it's the work of a Very talented amateur with a Huge collection of clips.

I'm not sure if that amateur exists or not. But thanks to whoever produced these 3 clips, and thanks to BP for creating the "mirror" site so we can all hear them. The Geocities sites seem to be pounded to death.

Those O&A xm pictures were not part of this geocities mystery... I just threw those images in that folder because it was the lastest folder I was using this week. Forget about those xm image files... they were just thrown in my web folder to post images on this message board.

I probably should have mentioned that before making that raw folder open for public eyes... sorry... my bad.

it's someone that visits the boards, or at least foundry. that's where the opie in a tree came from.

and the background image. it's mine. well, someone gave it to me and i used it recently (http://oavirus.com/index0000.html) when i changed the look of the site to keep folks out during the change. now at first i thought he may have gotten it from my site, but if he did he changed the background image name to fit the theme of the site.

I think the whole "Geocities" thing is because they want this stuff to be untraceable. They don't want people to know it's origins... hell as soon as that "BraveStreet.com" video came out... we had info and phone numbers of the people who registered the domain name and everything researched.

The "unknown origins" factor is the key thing about this site!

I have been analyzing the hell out of these clips. The religious overtones, the mood of the clips chosen, and the overall feeling of each clip. The hidden meanings behind such clips... talks of lawyers and contracts... and new representation... all swirl around so quickly.

Once again... a common fan would not think of such things to throw in there. This is shit rattling around in O&A's minds right now... and nobody has access to shit like that but the boys themselves!

Ok... I was going to go off on getting mixed reports, here...

Because I got 2 reports of my ONATRIX page being linked, then Radioguy provides me with a zip folder of the site where my link was removed.

The Onatrix link sighting was at 1:30 am, but new things were added after 5am... so I click on the geocities site myself, and found exactly what "radioguy" gave me.

I understand whoever is putting this out wanted to give me props, but it may actually confuse the people visiting the site for real O&A NEW info. It's best to keep these sites seperate right now, so we don't confuse people who are looking for the REAL updates.

Who ever is putting this out... thank-you for the half of day shout out... I do appreciate that... but I do understand you have to keep the message on track.

I will continue to do my thing and "mirror the geocities site" and not get hung up with recognition.

I'm just glad you guys are "throwing us an additional bone" that I take will come out very late Friday night. I also like that you guys announced when "the ANSWER" will appear... MONDAY.... shit that geocities site is going to be pounded that day!

Lets put it this way hes good friends with Tom Leikes. Speaking of we have the pleasure of listening to his show in the evening and if that wasnt a solid enough day of radio programming they cap it off with the Don and Mike show late night.
This radio board and the potential for some O and A updates are the only thing that have kept me from putting a bullet in my head!

Well, I just took American Hi-fi - Art of Losing, and cut up a few clips of when Caliendo was on the show, and put em in. No bells,no whistles, just to show it can be done very easily. It took me literaly 5 minutes. The clip sounds like crap, but with cleaner clips, and with the stuff he had, I could make the same clip with one lil program, very simply

I am streaming ALL three of the audio clips back to back along with the "Dice" background sound byte on that Streamer P2P software 24 hours a day from my upstairs computer. It is a constant radio beacon of this NEW message of O&A's return.

It runs along side people who are trying to pick up the live Howard Stern feed, who don't get that show anymore and need to turn to software like this. The title of the feed also becons people to click on it and check it out...

i did this Tyson Sweeper (http://oavirus.com/sex-and-the-tyson-b-e.mp3) some time ago using a tyson sound board and some ant/tyson bits from some shows. the audio is sub-par cause i had to reduce the bit rate so it would load easyier and faster. i accidently deleted the original 128bit rate file. and i am no pro.

Who ever is producing this geocities page is reading this board. I made a suggestion about the HTML code including "new window" tags for the links to other sites...

The only thing I did to the html file was to add "new window" html tags for the hyperlinks to the various websites that were added. If someone clicks on those links a new browser window will open up to go to those sites. You may want to tell the guy who is putting up this geocities page to do that as well!

Paradise Lost | One-page Summary

Book I
Book I introduces the main subject matter of the poem: the creation, fall, and redemption of the world and humankind. Book III

Book IV
Book IV returns to the quest of Satan who, as he approaches the Paradise of Eden, is beset by doubt, fear, envy, and despair. His confidence soon returns however, and, confirmed in his evil purpose, he journeys on to Paradise. The reader's first view of Paradise is thus seen through Satan's eyes. The Garden and Satan's first sight of its inhabitants are described as he sits in the shape of a cormorant on the Tree of Life (the highest tree in the Garden) and looks around him. Overhearing a conversation between Adam and Eve, Satan learns that they are forbidden to eat fruit from the Tree of Knowledge, on pain of death. This provides Satan with a plan for their destruction. Meanwhile Uriel, observing Satan's earlier struggle with himself, has seen through his disguise. He warns Gabriel, the guardian of the Gate of Paradise, that trouble is afoot, and Gabriel promises to find Satan by morning. Evening descends, and Adam and Eve retire to their rest after performing their evening worship. Gabriel appoints two angels to watch over Adam and Eve's bower, where they discover Satan (in the form of a toad) whispering into Eve's ear and tempting her in a dream. They bring him to Gabriel, who questions him. Satan answers scornfully and seems ready to resist, but at a sign from Heaven he decides to flee instead.

Book V
Morning arrives and Eve tells Adam of her troubling dream. Disturbed, he comforts her, and they proceed to their morning worship. In order to deprive them of any excuse for transgression, God sends Raphael to remind Adam of his freedom and the necessity for obedience, and to warn him of Satan's plan. As Adam and Raphael enjoy a meal of choice fruits prepared by Eve, Raphael tells Adam of Satan's rebellion and how he incited all the angel Legions of the North to join him, with the sole exception of Abdiel, a seraph who had tried to dissuade him and, failing, had forsaken him.

Book VI
In Book VI Raphael continues the story of Satan's revolt in Heaven, which was prompted by his envy of the Son. Raphael relates how Michael and Gabriel fought against Satan for two days. On the first day, Satan is routed, but under the cover of night convenes a council and invents some "devilish Engines," including gunpowder, which his armies introduce on the second day. These cause considerable disorder amongst Michael and his angels, but they manage to overwhelm the forces of Satan by pulling up mountains. The battle is not yet won, however, and on the third day God sends his Son (the Messiah) into the fray. The Son drives into the midst of the enemy force with his chariot and thunder, pursuing them to the wall of Heaven, through which they leap down with horror and confusion into the Deep (a place which has been prepared for their punishment). The Messiah then returns in triumph to his Father.

Book VII
At Adam's request, Raphael continues his tale with the story of the creation of the world. He explains that, after the expulsion of Satan and his angels from Heaven, God wishes to repopulate Heaven. Rather than create more angels, God decides to create another world and other creatures to dwell in it. He therefore sends his Son with attendant angels to perform the work of Creation, which the Son accomplishes in six days. The angels celebrate creation with hymns, and return with the Son to Heaven.

Book VIII
Raphael's tale being ended, Adam seeks to satisfy his thirst for knowledge and inquires about the movements of the heavenly bodies. Raphael, while conceding that Heaven is a veritable book in which Adam can read the wondrous works of God, admonishes Adam concerning the limitations of knowledge and advises him to seek out knowledge which is more worthwhile. Adam agrees, and, in his turn, tells Raphael all that he can remember since his own creation: his being placed in Paradise, his talk with God, his first meeting and marriage with Eve. After a discussion of Adam's relationship with Eve, Raphael departs with a final warning.

Book IX
Satan returns to Eden by night as a mist, and enters into the sleeping serpent. In the morning Adam and Eve go out to their labor in the garden. Eve suggests that they would work more efficiently apart, but Adam expresses concern that the enemy of which they have been warned might harm her if he found her alone. Eve does not wish to be thought weak, and insists on working apart, and Adam gives in to her. Satan, in the form of the serpent, finding her alone, is momentarily struck dumb by her beauty. He proceeds to flatter her, praising her beauty and charm. Eve wonders at his ability to speak, and he explains that he attained both speech and reason by eating the fruit of a certain tree. Eve asks to be shown the tree, but when she finds that it is the Tree of Knowledge she asserts that eating of its fruit is forbidden. The serpent, after many arguments, persuades her to eat. Pleased with the taste, she debates whether or not to take the fruit to Adam, but eventually decides to do so and repeats the arguments by which she was persuaded to eat. Adam is not deceived, but seeing that she is lost, resolves to perish with her because he loves her too much to live without her. He eats the fruit, and the consequences are dire. Their first response is lust, followed by shame. After covering themselves, they begin to argue and to blame each other.

Book X
The angels who are guarding Paradise return to Heaven, to be absolved by God of any responsibility for the fall of Adam and Eve, which they could not have prevented. God then sends the Son to judge Adam and Eve. Sin and Death, who have been waiting by the gates of Hell, are aware of Satan's success and decide to follow Satan up to the world. In order to make the journey easier, they pave a bridge over Chaos, from Hell to the world. Satan, meanwhile, returns to Hell and boasts of his success to the assembly of his angels in Pandemonium. Instead of applause, however, his tale is received with a "universal hiss," as he and his angels are transformed into serpents, according to the judgement pronounced upon him in Paradise by the Son. Deluded by a mirage of the forbidden tree, they devour the fruit, only to find themselves chewing on dust and ashes. Sin and Death having arrived in the world, God foretells their final defeat at the hands of the Son, but in the meantime commands certain alterations to take place in the heavens. Adam and Eve lament their fallen condition and Eve tries to comfort Adam. He at first refuses her consolation, but eventually he is appeased and they reconcile. She suggests several violent ways of evading the Curse pronounced upon them and their offspring, but he resists and counsels hope, reminding her of the promise that revenge against the serpent would be given through her offspring. They seek peace with God through repentance and supplication.

Book XI
Hearing the prayers of Adam and Eve, the Son intercedes with God on their behalf. God accepts their prayers, but decrees that they can no longer live in Paradise and sends Michael with a band of cherubim to cast them out. Adam sees Michael coming and goes out to greet him. Upon hearing that they must leave, Eve laments and Adam pleads, but eventually they submit. Before removing them from Eden, however, Michael takes Adam up to a high hill and reveals to him in a vision all that will happen until the Flood of Noah's age.

Book XII
Michael continues his story of things to come, moving from the Flood to Abraham and then to Christ. He explains that Christ will be the Seed of the Woman who was promised to Adam and Eve at their fall, and that his Incarnation, Death, Resurrection, and Ascension will inaugurate the salvation of humankind. Michael then describes the Age of the Church until the Second Coming of Christ. Adam is comforted by these revelations and returns to Eve, who has been sleeping. She wakes from gentle dreams, refreshed and composed. Michael takes them by the hand and leads them out of Paradise, setting a fiery sword and cherubim to guard the gates. Adam and Eve pause for a moment, looking back and shedding some ''natural tears'' at the loss of Paradise. The reader's last view of Adam and Eve is, however, a hopeful one as they dry their tears and walk away, hand in hand, the whole world before them and Providence as their guide.

I was able to pull "that bone" from the geocities site myself on my upstairs computer. It is a little faster and was able to grab the clip at lighning speed. I was doing all kinds of things to try and pull this file in. "Radioguy" had mentioned special "download excellerator" programs which I downloaded and tried with NO luck.

Then I just decided to right mouse click on the main site and I pulled in the (html) file at least. Was able to find the file name, and pulled that in as well using a direct link connection and (right mouse clicking on it, and choosing the "Save Target As..." option to pull it quickly to my computer. No special software was needed using my better upstairs computer.

So... my mirror site has been updated with this 4th clip... CHECK IT OUT...

To me, it means they will be on the same channel as BTLS. Both are rumored to go to satellite. Sirius announced last year they wanted to start a male oriented talk/comedy channel. I say it means Sirius gets O&A and BTLS....and they will be part of this new channel.

One more note about this "religious theme", obviously the whole sex in the church, and the Catholic church being outraged and feeling they had a victory in getting O&A pulled off the airwaves is one reason for the religious overtones.

I posted something months ago... I think it was when the last Matrix movie came out last Fall and people were a bit disappointed with it. That weekend when I went to see it, I took my son to his rollerhockey game in a small town in the northern most point of WNY, and I found this green pamphlet on the ground where I parked. I thought it was an advertisement for the latest Matrix movie that was just coming out in theatres... but it was something totally different...

I found it quite humorous that this group of religious fanatics were using the theme of the "Matrix" to spread their religious message. It was in stark contrast to when I watch the 2nd Matrix movie with that email that Opie sent to a fan floating around in my brain as I watched the movie. The guy who wrote this pamphlet probably saw "Jesus" as the Neo character... but all I saw was "Opie" as the main character... and the "OnAtrix" was created. Pretty fucked up how one film could cause such ratically different outcomes and messages!

I also find it interesting that you are from "Dallas, Texas" and if you look at the fine print on the back page, this religious pamphlet was also printed in "Texas". Also... a side note, this small town I spoke of, had a religious cult of chinese people move there a few years back, because they said they were told by god to move there. This chinese religious cult was from Texas, and they weren't too hard to spot... the only chinese people wearing ten gallon hats... I kid you not. I always thought it must have been these religious fanatics that must have dropped this pamphlet.

satan had gathered an army only to be cast out of heaven. he took his minions and resided in hell where he is now a major opposition to heaven. could another such force be ready and waiting to take over as of yet unknown and un named domain? could it be possiable that this force once settled into it's new home may have a battle, maybe a war, planned to be wagged? but then the war has been started, an unbalanced war where the opposing side is moving forward unhindered. could it be that this force will rise to fight this juggernaut? the 7th day is here. he rest and gathers his strength for the coming battle?

one thing i learned about geocities, is that if someone is interested in seeing and getting the site and it's contents they will keep trying till they get it. if the site is for real and is run by someone among us, or at least someone that is overlooking us, then the site can very well be a sign. can it be the final sign that many have been waiting for? we may know when the planets are aligned.

I also find it interesting that you are from "Dallas, Texas" and if you look at the fine print on the back page, this religious pamphlet was also printed in "Texas". Also... a side note, this small town I spoke of, had a religious cult of chinese people move there a few years back, because they said they were told by god to move there. I know were kind of obsessed collecting all the shows and bits we can but thats different. Are those news clips floating around on the net?

Given how much we listen to O @ A over the years, do we know how much they are into puzzles, riddles, hidden meanings. I am going to say quite a bit.
These are just some of the ones I can think of

- "What is the opposite of small white?" Opie taking about Big Black from the HooHoo show wanting to do stuff for them when High Pitch Eric did his bomb threat.

- The amount of video games that Opie and Anthony play. Especially Anthony. He really seemed to be into games like Resident Evil that had puzzles with crazy obscure clues. Opie just seemed to like curing the homeless problem in GTA3 with a baseball bat.

I am not saying this means it is the boys, but it does indicate that they could at least think it was cool.

i thought it might have been spaz, but as was already mentioned, spaz had someone run his site cause he did not know how, and his webmaster bailed on him. spaz has enough keeping his site (which has nothing) running, i don't think he is behind this. the spaz site is slipping into nothing. if it was him why not do it on his site to draw in the crowds? anyway i don't think it's him.

Well, I've been staring at the blur image, and moving around to see if at a different angle a better "shape" would start to form (although you dont really need to move to see what I'm seeing - saying that this image is even of any substance and not just some random image) but it looks like someone wearing a blue shirt and jeans, pointing with both hands at the camera, standing as if they were heading towards an "I to you" kind of pose. But, as I said, that's only if the image matters and isn't some random shot.

I just took a closer look by zooming in on the image, and it could be a person giving 2 thumbs up to the camera.

Patrick "Millennium" Curry and Ben "PSX" Hamilton, who started this site along with Maarten and Aaron.

Looks like Ben is a webmaster and a big contributor to editing quake content. He also moved 3000 miles away from california, so maybe he lives in new york now?
Anyway, I thought this might be important since this guy could be the owner of the email address and the owner of the site. Am I going too far?

Here is just something from left field. Could the 'He' be Hoo-Hoo? They talk about his "nose" being in it from the beginning. IF it were could they (assuming "they" are the bbboys) be talking about not their return but their firing? "All will be revealed" (remember the gag-order?) and "which is guilty" might be the bbboys getting ready to discuss how possibly Hoo-hoo had a hand in their dismissal from Infinity. Just thought we might want to explore a different track, before we get Fedex-Ed, Robification, and Buffalo Paul following the Dogstar with Gold, Frankencense, and Murr. I know there are some holes in the theory, but just a theory.

i'd like to think that if o&a were to be sending us messages, they wouldnt do it in this fashion. there are so many other ways to send hints making things more obvious for us....
