Would you rather have Sirius or XM?

Ok, we all know for sure after the roast that they will be on satellite, but what service would you rather see them on? Personally I'd rather see them on XM cause it looks like they have a lot more products to choose from and it seems the most popular right now. Plus its a little cheaper. But where ever O&A go I'll get that service, they're just too damn funny. So.. what does everyone else think?

also XM make nicer portable recievers including a computer based program that connects via usb

I agree. I really hope they go to Sirius as well. I would be really pissed if they went to XM, not only did I buy the receiver, but I bought stock in the company, and I am looking for Sirius to take XM out by next year. O & A will be the franchise players if they head to Sirius. They will be the catalysts for Sirius. Sirius has to make this signing if they want tot compete with XM. It is a must for them to survive.

i hate to say it but sirius stock will go up regardless of o&a.... they are going to get a lot of on air talent... talk and otherwise... thats a given... for us, it's all about o&a.... we'll go wherever they go.... for the average consumer, they're getting the product with the programming they can best relate to

starting next year they'll have mobile video.... this will be HUGE in the industry..... especially for those parents who take long trips with kids

I'd prefer Sirius. They have every NFL game, and I'm a Dolphins fan who lives nowhere near Miami. I go crazy when I don't get to see them choke during the last 4 weeks of the season. I'm not getting DirecTV, so this would be the best option for me. O & A and the NFL in one package would be sweet.

Why not both?
Air America is on both, as are a few other "network" type shows.
Why not a WOW syndication network that includes both satellite systems, tv/pay per view events, and possibly some standard terrestrial stations as well.
If you're going to come back... Come back big.
Both satellite systems have fairly decent programming. I've had XM since it came out, and love it. The programming is just now beginning to get good. Initially, it was a bit watered-down. Lowest Common Denominator Radio. Now, it's starting to get good. Satellite is best for talk stuff in my opinion, and that seems to be the trend it's moving towards. There are too many outlets for music outside of radio to make buying it just for music worth it.
If they go to Sirius, though, I'm buying it on day one. My wife's taking the XM. If they go to XM, she'll get the Sirius or XM. We're waiting until we know for sure.

If Bro Joe has bought stock in Sirius , it has to be them(Sirius) I know five people who just bought stock in Sirius because there is a buzz going around about something big coming out soon about the future of this company. My friends broker just bought stock in Sirius ( he also owns XM) this week because the stock so cheap right now.
I'm going to get some too. I have showed so many people my Sirius system now everybody wants it including my inlaws. The System is just great. Oh Yeah Fuck Don and Mike!!!

Well, I recieved a free XM unit a couple of years ago, and it's pretty good, but as others said, they lack in the direction of talk. Their station 152 (supposed to be shock radio pretty much broadcasts a station out of florida.. It has the monsters of the midday (they got moved to mornings when CC fired Stern, and stern>monsters) The rest of the shows suck on that station, so I mostly listen to E!, or music. Wherever O and A wind up, I will buy that, or keep what I have, but at this point, I am leaning towards canceling XM unless they improve their talk area.

edit: Sirus is ok, but at the time when I was working as a car audio installer, I listened to both, and to be honest, sirus really didn't offer much to me. They had little equipment options, and the brands that they have didn't impress me maybe with the exception of Kenwood. XM is compatable with pioneer, sony, and a few of the other big name audio head units, and it makes much nicer portable units, where at the time sirus didnt have a single portable unit, and their one FM mod. unit looked like a giant CB microphone that was awkward to use, and easily broken. Out of all the units that I had returned due to problems, most where the sirus ones (FM modulated)
I left that company, and got out of installing, but I do check in on the equipment when i am in a store, and I see that Sirus now has a portable unit to compete with the Delphi unit, but it's pretty big and bulky in comparison.
