Who do you guys see as the big winners?
As a former Clevelander, I have to say the Browns made out pretty nice...I haven't been happy with a draft since Newsome was drafted.

Who do you guys see as the big winners? Not the Eagles. WTF were they thinkin? Give up a

The Eagles better hope Andrews ends up being the next Pace.
The Giants gave up too much. They should have stuck with Rivers.
The Lions seemed to be the biggest winner.

The Giants did pretty good..:gt:I was happy with Phil Rivers, and then they traded him for Eli Manning, now I'm very happy....they're talking about starting him too. I'm glad Coughlin is new, I think he'll work hard with Manning, I don't think he would start if Fassel was still there!
Also got a new Guard...what's up with Petitgout?

Detroit had a hell of a draft. I was kinda wondering what the hell was up with the Eagles too. Don't you guys need a back pretty bad?

WARNING: NASCAR REFERENCE
Just so you can't cry about not understanding......if you don't get it, I don't wanna hear about it.
Andy Reid is like the Anti-Earnhardt...............
He has no clue what to do in a draft.

NAH, just a little cranky cause I missed the COPS
game last night and I'll never understand Reid's
thoughts on drafting. His choices are usually always
against the logical ones.

Philadelphia moved up 12 spots to 16 to take offensive tackle Shawn Andrews of Arkansas, who is even bigger than coach Andy Reid. Andrews has weighed as much as 400 pounds and is now listed at 366.
I had to laugh when I read that. I got that quote from an article about the whole Eli Manning situation (what a pompous ass he is BTW). I think this might be a good pick. The Walrus might be on to something.

Steelers got Big Ben. I'm still high over that. :) We (hopefully) got our first franchise QB since Bradshaw.
Well, I'd like to say I disagree with anyone who thinks negatively about what Eli did. The Chargers franchise is poorly run and operated. They have made zero off season acquisitions and have zero talent to surround anybody with (excluding LT). You only have one chance in the NFL to take control of your destiny and where you want to go. After that nothing is guarenteed; the money, your career, your place on the roster. So for Manning to grab hold of the one chance he has to be in control, I appluad him for. San Diego hasn't even taken baby steps in getting in the right direction in a league where you can go from 3-13 to the Super Bowl.
Team wise, the Detroit Lions improved by leaps and bounds. Their offense looks big and with an offensive line that allowed the least amount of sacks last year, they could throw up some big points especially in a defensively weak division. I would like to thank the Cowboys for being complete dummies and not drafting Steven Jackson. And would like to thank the Redskins for drafting the right guy for once in Sean Taylor who in my opinion, is going to be the best saftey since Ronnie Lott.

All I am saying is that if I was lucky enough to have won the lottery of life and get drafted #1 overall in the NFL draft, I'd just be thankful to be there and just suck it up. If a shitty team drafted me, who cares? As long as they pay me... If it sucks, act-out like a child (like most pro athletes do) and you'll get traded and go someplace better.

What Eli did was completely disrespectful to the league. I'll be rooting for his failure. I'll also be rooting for his brother to get a ring, too. Well, unless Indy is playing the Browns.
It should not be the player who controls where they go in the draft. When contracts and rules are in place, you have to just suck it up. Eli is not a very classy guy.
I'm sick of football players. The Terrell Owens situation was a mess. The current Dennis Northcutt situation is a mess. I hope the Browns don't give in to Northcutt. Let him sit out the season. And the next one and the next one after that. He's the one that agreed to the contract initially. It's his own damn fault he didn't apply for free agency.

They're all cry babies any more. Kevin Jones, rb from Va Tech,
went to high school with my youngest kid. He was pissed cause he
was the 3rd RB picked in the first round and went off as 30th
overall. PISSED. Hre's a qoute from our local paper:
"I didn't know where I was going, but I didn't expect to be the third running
back selected. I am not being arrogant, but I believe I am the best running
back inthe draft."
Screw all these assholes. Give me a million bucks and I'll play
anywhere , anytime , and be effin thrilled about it.
