Small Suggestion

I have a small suggestion that might help some of the people who cannot afford to shell out $10 a month for Satellite radio... They'll still have to pay but they'll save a little money...


Some of us that have no problems paying for the service will probably be using only one radio and thats it... To help out some of our fellow wackbaggers you can pay $10 for your radio and offer a member (whom you have a decent relationship with) the option to add their radio on your account for $6.99 a month instead of them paying the full $10....

Your allowed up to 3 addiitional radios per account which means you can help 3 people save $3 a month X 12 months = $36 yearly savings...

To avoid getting screwed out of money by the other person just ask for a years worth of service upfront ($84) this way you'll get your money and they'll get the expense over and done with!

This way Sirius gets paid for the service, everyone gets to listen LEGALLY without underground feed, relays, FTP's & Etc....



Hope my suggestion makes sense and some of you might consider it...

I think it's a good idea. $36.00 is still a reasonable amount of change for someone with a limited budget.

When there is an announcement made, we can start a thread devoted to hosts and recipients to the service, and the costs involved.
It's not a lot of savings, but every dollar saved is well appreciated.

$36 isn't much but think of it this way, its better then nothing and the person who'd provide the radio you has to pay the full $10 and there not getting anything out of it besides helping you out...Plus, thats $36 more you'd have to purchase the radio....

not busten anyones chops, i think it's a great idea. and the more i think about it the better it sounds. my last job did the same thing with mobile phones. (it's a portable phone) they got the contract the basicly subletted the phones. if you did not pay or could not the phone was taken back. if another phone was needed it was just added to the contract. something simular could be done.
