I hope Pedro gets shelled, too. But I'm an Indians fan in the "Red Sox nation" of New England. I never liked Boston as a city, now I'm starting to detest it with these celtics/red sox/bruins fans up here. No class or appreciation for what it means to be a mid-major market team.

Dude you live in Vermont not mass, go ahead and be a mets or yanks fan your closer to them than us. Also you have no fucking clue what your saying, we have and extreme ammount of appreciation for the sox and Celtics, as for hockey who cares? We are huge fans of the game and understand it more than any other city, us philli and NY rule in terms of understanding the game.......
BTW as far as trashing Boston WTF? YOU DON'T LIVE IN BOSTON YOU LIVE IN THE BIGGEST WHITE TRASH TREE HUGGING HIPPIE FAG STATE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will address the content of this message point by point:
Dude you live in Vermont not mass, go ahead and be a mets or yanks fan your closer to them than us.We'll start out with a Geography lesson. New York is 5 hours away. Boston is 3 hours away. Montreal is only 2 hours away, but if we factor in the games in Puerto Rico, Boston is the closest Major League Team.
Also you have no fucking clue what your saying, we have and extreme ammount of appreciation for the sox and Celtics, as for hockey who cares? We are huge fans of the game and understand it more than any other city, us philli and NY rule in terms of understanding the game.......Boy, us Cleveland fans know nothing about baseball, football and basketball. That big-market elitist attitude really drives me nuts. In my chats with folks from Boston, I have gleaned nothing more insightful about any of these sports than speaking with a Clevelander. It's a myth, and it's not true. Now, I will give Indiana residents basketball props. Basketball fans in Indiana know far more about the game than an average fanatic. I'd be glad to square off with you in a quiz over baseball, football or basketball any day.
BTW as far as trashing Boston WTF? YOU DON'T LIVE IN BOSTON YOU LIVE IN THE BIGGEST WHITE TRASH TREE HUGGING HIPPIE FAG STATE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!Have you BEEN to Vermont? Vermont, while it may have a socialist for a Representative, a Democrat and an old style Republican (which is closer to a modern day Dem) representing us in the Senate, is very conservative. Talk to one person who is not a Flatlander and you'll find that to be true. The hippies may have flocked to Burlington, but that's a very small percentage of the community and they don't vote. Now, I don't happen to have a probelm with homosexuals, but your use of the phrase "fag state" should not go unnoted. Your state, not the one I'm living in, is the one that will allow gay marraige this year. Vermont thought that was going too far.

He seems to have lost his fastball. But Pedro still has command of at least 3 other pitches. He'll be fine. And stop bashing VT. it's my favorite state..next to VA.

so how is he different from any other super star athlete? and i disagree with your comment about him not repsecting the game of basesball, he understands the game and its history and knows his place in the game.
PS hows that SU feed working?

Where in Vermont are you? I lived in Burlington for 8 years. Have to remember that it has a progressive for a mayor. Chittenden Country votes Dem or left. The rest of the state Republican, but Chittenden County is big enough to run things.
Now as for Pedro, I am a huge sox fan, he's an ass. Let him go. He is not pitching well enough to talk contract now. If he does, then they can talk. Otherwise there were a bunch of guys signed to 1 year contracts last year and the free agent market should be ripe.

I'm in Burlington, and as a Clevelander, I'm a flatlander, too. Our Mayor may have been a Progressive, but he's running for governor on the Dems ticket which has pissed off all the Ps. Much of Chittenden County is dem, and votes dem. The liberal image of Vermont is derived on hippies, though, who do not vote. If they all voted, there wouldn't be a chance for republicans here.
And, as for Pedro, he had no fastball last night. He topped out at 92. The awful Boston announcers said it was the first time he hit 92 consistantly all season. Sounds like he's losing his power, but his cutting fastball is near unhittable when used in the right situations. I still hate Pedro.

Yeah, me too. It is to the point where he is just annoying. If he backs it up then talk contract.
Side note: My friends are the ones that bought Nector's. Another friend owns What Ales You (I used to work there), other friend own Rasputins (worked there under old owner), and my former boss own's Cody's up in Essex. Can you tell I used to work in the bars yet. Man I miss it up there.

There are some great bars up here. I go to Cody's in Milton to watch the Brown's games during football season. Are you in Boston now?
