FU to whoever is in charge of facilites at my company. One of our air conditioners has been broken for over 2 weeks. It'll be exactly 2 weeks on Tuesday since someone came to check it out and told us that it needed a part. Well . . . where the fuck is it? It was 81 degrees in there today, you piles of wasted sperm! It's supposed to be about 85 tomorrow, so it should be pushing 90 in there.

FU to the person who gave us a bitchy, "We're aware of the situation," when someone called you guys on Friday to follow up on it. Have a little compassion, would ya? Nobody should be sweating just from typing.

I hope the heat makes me sick so I can take a big liquid heat-exhaustion dump on the floor, and get to leave early. I wonder what department would be in charge of cleaning that up. Oh yeah, Facilities! Better bring a mop, boys!

Hey you can have the AC from my company since my boss won't turn it on at all even though it works fine. He did turn it on last April when it got over 60 degrees but then it was off all last summer. Oh wait, he does turn it on, when it's hot of course he only turns it on in his office.. F'n prick

My boss thinks he's the greatest humanitarian since Mother Teresa because he got my a service truck that has air conditioning. All bosses are a-holes about this stuff.

Waaaaaaa Waaaaaa Waaaaaaaaa....:haha7:

I'm in a warehouse...blistering hot in the summer (hotter inside than outside)
freezing cold in the winter (colder inside than outside)

I work outside, year round. And it seems to me that I spend most of my time outside the truck when the weather is shitty, both hot and cold. I seem to spend most of my time trapped in the truck driving on days that are ideal to work outside. It sucks.

Does it rain and snow inside your warehouse? When it does, then we can talk. LOL

Ok you got me there....:icon_mrgr

I drove a tow truck and dealt with 10 years of hurricanes, blizzards, nor'easters, heatwaves, floods....at least I stay dry now (except for the sweat):biggrinfl

Oh, it's OK now. We got a fan! Yeah, so the thermostat only read 83.6 today at 11 AM. Why, without that fan it would have been like 83.8! Thank God for fans!

I think I'll ditch the long-sleeve shirt and tie (both required) tomorrow and just show up naked. If I can convince some of the better-looking women at work to do the same, things might work out OK.

If I can convince some of the better-looking women at work to do the same, things might work out OK.I think I may have changed policy at work. I bitched and moaned about NOT being able to wear shorts for the last 3 years. I checked OSHA regs and found out that it's not a safety thing. I scoured my companys Employee hand book and the way they have it worded is no "short shorts". (ok spot...insert joke here).

I have my manager (who wants shorts also) picking out some cargo shorts to present to our Executive Committee and hopefully I'll hear on Monday.:bigok

My shithead of a boss (who sits on his fat ass all day in an air-conditioned office, or drives around in his air-conditioned luxury SUV) bitches if we wear shorts.

I wore shorts today, because he wasn't around. I plan on wearing them tomorrow too. But, I'll change into them once I leave the office in the morning.
