High School Counselors are dicks. I was talking to one way back when I was a Junior and he said that to get certified all he did was go to this 48 hour seminar type thing. No wonder they don't know jack shit.

This year one of my younger sister's counselors went around telling all her classmates that she was a pathalogical liar and whatnot. Don't trust a word they say because in reality you probably know more than they do.

My counseler would show me a list of subjects and asked me which ones I was interested in...after telling him the ones I wanted he would go "oh...you dont want to take that class...you would much rather take this one" and point out one that I had absolutly NO interest in and I would be like "no...i dont want that" he would go "Yes you do, its better than the one you pick" and i would have to argue with him until he agreed to put me in the classes I wanted to..

My counsler told me not to go to vo-tech because I wasn't that "type" of person that would go there. I wouldn't listen and went anyway and it was the best decision of my life.. I went for PC/networking for 2 years and they liked me so much they hired me on to work on their network for a 3 year internship... I lfound out I love working on PCs and networks and I would probably be doing something I hated right now if I had actually listened to my fucking high school no-brained counsler.
