OK. I live in Center City Philadelphia. Home of the Liberty Bell and the George Washington Slept Here sign. This whole week, I've seen the fattest, Midwestern douchebags running up the Art Museum steps ala Rocky while another fat Midwesterner captures the moment on film. ENOUGH!!!!! Knock it the fuck off already!!!! There should be an ambulance stationed nearby for the potential heart attacks.

I'm from philly and I've done it @ 4 A.M. and HEAVILY intoxicated with a couple of friends:icon_redf

but I agree tourists doing in broad day light is just F'ing annoying, although if I see a tourist imitating rocky I stop and watch, hoping to see them trip and fall and smash their face on the art musem's steps...

I take a small (30-40 car) ferry across the Potomac every day. The summer is hell, because of tourists who don't know the proper way to load onto the ferry. They dont pull up all the way, theres huge gaps between them and the car in front of them, and the ferry operators have to spend a lot of time getting them to pull forward far enough, which means a huge lag time for those of us who are commuters and do this every day and just want to get home already. One of the guys who worked there had a name for them. Tourons (Tourist Morons).

gotta love the retards who start unpacking there is 8 feet of space between themselves and the car in front of them.... then getting the kids back in the car to move the vehicle forward a few feet.... once watched a retard inch his car forward for almost 5 minutes because he was afraid of hitting the car in front of him... wouldnt trust the guy guiding him in to position so he'd actually get out of the car, look at how much room he had left and get back in and inch forward. i really wanted to take a shit on his hood after it was all parked up.... my girlfreind(at the time) talked me out of it.

here in NY, we have our share of tourist retards as well.... gotta love the orientals jumping in the middle of the street as a fire truck is speeding their way to take a picture.... or the people taking up the ENTIRE sidewalk and stolling along on their merry way as slow as they can possibly walk when there's a crowd of people behind them trying to get to work on time.... i usually say "excuse me" and push them out of my way.

for you people who just HAVE TO climb the statue of liberty.... go for it... you're going to be VERY disappointed walking up all them stairs in that corridor that smells like piss only to look out a few small windows and see nothing. when you come down, i DONT want to hear how disappointing it was... i know all about it....

when you just HAVE TO take a picture in the middle of the sidewalk, EXPECT everyone to walk in the way. they arent inconsiderate... YOU ARE for stopping people from getting to work because you have to take a picture of you ugly, smelly kid sitting in some retarded fake sculpture in front of the building

ugh..... now i'm pissed... i think i'm going to go to philly and run up them fucking rocky stairs as slow as i can to piss hugo off

Yeah, I avoid a lot of them around here, because I dont go into DC proper unless theres a hockey game I want to see, or someone (ie, my client) makes me go to DC. Or my family is in town and wants to play tourist. This time of year is one of the greatest. An absolute assload of people, walking wherever they please, all dressed in identical Eddie Bauer 4th of July shirts and matching tan shorts, so that they will be "easier to spot" in the crowd of other asshats wearing the EXACT SAME OUTFIT, attempting to take their too-big backpacks/purses into the museums, or on to the mall, only to be turned away because the signs and every f'ing TV station has been telling you for WEEKS not to take big backpacks/purses to the mall because they WONT LET YOU IN.

Unfortunately, I cant avoid the ones on the ferry. And even tho its a MUCH smaller/shorter ferry, its the same thing here Rob. The other one that REALLY pisses me off is when they get out of their car, and decide to walk up near MY car, even leaning on it occasionally, and not paying attention when they run their backpacks (do you sense a backpack theme in my life yet?) into my car inadvertently while they try to take a picture of the middle of the potomac (its a river, they have them in many places, its not that exiting), which invariably results in a scratch to my paint which drives me crazy.

Anyone else get annoyed when people ask you to take their picture as your walking by them or is it just me???

When someone asks me I act all nice and take it for them, but make it a point to f their picture up by cutting their heads off, or taking the picture so that it is off-center and cut people out...

That's a good idea, but if it's a really nice camera just take the picture and run away with the camera.

:haha7: :action-smDon't think that hasn't happened, lol, there are gullible
tourists everywhere. They hand over a 600 buck camera like it's a toy.::hammer:
