id prefer a better scoring system in the h2h then we used last year . (at least as far as rb's go). thats the only thing id change. im not a huge fan of yahoo's deafult settings.

id make it 1 point every 10 yds rushing. unless you had priest jamal duece or ahman then you werent really getting any points from your rb's at all. (1 pt per 50 yds is a little steep)

people like tiki who didnt score alot of td's but racked up some decent yardage during the season were pretty much worthless. while tj duckett was a decent start most weeks and he sucked as far as yards went.

thats just my view though.

I agree, the point system should be changed to a custom setting It was mostly a TD league last year... I'm not a fan of TD leagues because there is more to the game.

In my league we do percentages (5% pass, 10% reush/rec) its a built in tie breaker, but we don't do yahoo... I think that 1 pt for 10 yds rushing/rec is mre gooder, and 1 pt for 20/25 yds passing is ok, but you could leave it at 50 yds for qbs

I'd lose the competetions points and losing points for your qb getting sacked. Also change passing TD's to like 4 pts. I'd add receptions though. By doing that you add some value to the WR position, and take away value from the QB position that is already overvalued...

Also, I wasn't a fan of losing points for fumbles, but ultimately, it doesn't matter...

here is how i do the scoring in every league im in. its pretty balanced for all positions . im not a huge fan of completion bonuses at all because it makes the value of garbage qb's not so bad and ive always gone with if you drafted badly then you have to suffer the consequences.

I used to really like cbs sportsline for their fantasy football. I'm not sure if it's free anymore though.

i like yahoos set up this year alot . the players to watch list is awesome . the only bad thing is no IL spots this year which kinda sucks. but yahoo is one of the few free spots left.

another thing id like to do is a waiver pick instead of first come first serve. id like it to go something like this(although i know its harder online to control. )

after suday at 1:00 pm everyone's rosters are locked. after the monday night game you can email the commish (wack) with your waiver pick for the week(last place gets first pick at the guy they want and so on). then wack posts the pick ups and at 12:00 midnight tuesday (or wed however you want to view it) the entire pool of fa's become available. this makes it more fair for the people who cant check in every second of the day.

id like this league to be very competetive other than the four guys who try (me wack boo-boo and spew).

I think it comes down to which QB you like better, Garrard or Brunell.

That said, I'd lean towards smith over coles. Brunell's been BRUTAL this year and i don't think that portis will throw for another TD this week...

Coles is a scary player. Not scary as in he puts up ridiculous numbers but scary as in you dont know whether or not to put him in. He has played mediocre so far, there are times when i dont put him in and he does something that makes me sad, like putting up numbers that make me wish i had him in. I dont know with him anymore.

I would like to chime in with a big FU to Larry Johnson. I lost my playoff game because of 2 frigging plays, a 41 and a 46 yard TD run...:arrrh:

I was 3-11.....I understand but, I'm just sick of having a good team and losing to games to guys that are complete idiots because of a matchup issue. I swear I have no luck when it comes to fantasy football. I've lost all of the games on fluke b/s too which makes it worse.

A couple years a go I lost by 6 tenths of a point because Marshall Faulk goes bannanas, followed by getting bounced the following year by 1 point. Then this year, I finish #1 in total points, but wind up with 4 losses because I played Manning when he threw 5 TDs, Culpepper when he threw 5 tds, McNabb throws for 4, and Owens scores 3. I lost both the Manning/Culpepper games by less than 5 points each. I can understand that it happens players go off, but I mean what are the odds of facing 4 different teams and having players in another stratosphere.

In another league I lost 2x to a guy that couldn't start a whole team... I'm just like WTF right now...
