Voice chat?

does anyone still use the voice chat that there used to be for this site? I lost the link for it a long time ago.. or is there any chat that wackbag members go to often?

I know this is not on topic of o and a, but it was a question about the board, and I figued it would be ok for general.. if need be, you're welcome to move it..

If there isn't a voice chat anymore, and there is an interest for it, I might be able to set up a Team speak, or ventrillo server for o and a fans to chat on.

i used to get invited to chats, too...but not so much anymore. this may stem from the fact that i am erratically at my computer and i rarely talk to anyone but like 2 people from this board...hmmmmm...

Hopefully this doesn't sound like :spam1 but there's a great chat program called Paltalk (free) that we can set up if anyone wants to do voice chat. We could probably get a room going and all. :icon_cool I won't post the link at the risk of sounding like :spam1 but it's pretty obvious...

I just thought about it, and I have a team speak server, but forgot about it.. So, I made a room there for this board.. It's a free voice chat client that is always up and running.. Got o http://www.goteamspeak.com then click on the upper right corner for the TS2 client.
When you install it, click on connect, then right click on the white section, and hit add server. in labe give it a name, then the server address is 69.141.229.134 put in a nick name, and you're good to go.

I always liked paltalk.. I even joined the damn thing about 6 months ago. Running spybot cleans the bullshit out.

And I've never gotten spyware from PalTalk unless they just added it recently. Neither AdAware or SpyBot S&D detect anything. :icon_conf

I think you guys are confusing Paltalk's popups with spyware. There is no spyware with Paltalk. I just installed the latest version and ran Spybot S&D, AdAware 6 and Pest Patrol and came up clean. Paltalk only uses popups to get you to subscribe which you don't have to. Just get a good popup stopper and you're all set. You also won't get moving video in all the rooms if you don't subscribe but again it's not needed, the voice chat works fine without it. Subscribing gives you 6 moving video cams and all the popups and ads disappear.

Well Paltalk has text chat in rooms in addition to the voice chat. Turn down the volume or throw on some headphones and type amongst yourselves. :)
