Few questions about XM Skyfi.

Im completly new to this so please bare with me, i want to know what kind of outputs the skyfi has, does it have a standard headphone jack (not sure exact size but the kind you put into a walkman or portable cd player)????? is the unit battery powered, if i wanted to take it with me and listen to it like an mp3 or cd player??????

the skyfi unit does not have a jack on it, however the boombox for it does. it is a standard jack size. the box has ac power or you can use 8 d batteries. if u decide to go that route, you can go to walmart and pick one up for 88 bucks. or you can try xm411.com.

The SkyFi itself does not run on batteries. But it does have a regular jack for headphones. If you're looking for a portable solution, you probably want to go with the Roady 2. There are several portable solutions for the Roady.

The skyfi in fact does not have connectors of any type on it, except for the one the adaptors plug into. All cabling is done through either the boombox, the home adaptor unit, or the car adaptor unit, which are all sold seperately.
