Get a gmail invite!

Heya gang,
I have 6 gmail invites burning a hole in my pocket. The first 6 wackbaggers to PM me with their current email address gets em, one a piece.

Keep in mind if you have a yahoo or hotmail account that an invite may come through in your bulk mail folder, so if after a while you don't think you received it try and look for it there.

an e-mail service by google, u can hold up to 1 gig of mail, free, and search through your e-mail to find stuff. it's pretty cool

There are also some Gmail 3rd party programs around, slashdot.org has some links if you don't feel like googling. The one I have appears as an icon in My Computer and lets me upload files and download them again with the same software.

Apparently there is a huge exploit that can allow a person to log into any gmail account without a pasword.

It's a great e-mail program. They're still working out some kinks, and it will take a little while to get used to not putting items in folders. But, with that said, I have about 5 invites available, so whoever would like to get in early on the GMail craze, PM me.

I never heard any warning about losing your account. I don't thinnk it would ever happen. Beta just means that it is not fully open to the public yet. It looks like they are doing it the smart way by making the sign ups a bit more private. If they allowed anybody to sign up for a free 1 GB mailbox, they would get slammed right away. The way it is done now might make the signups a bit more controlled.

Just write down your password, (you will need it every two weeks), and remember to put a . between your first and last name.
