XM reception in machine shop/warehouse?

hey new here 1st. post :clap: :icon_roll .
does anyone know how is the reception is in this type of work place? because most of you know even with FM if you just move the radio just a bit you loss everything. or do i have to rig something up that looks like i have a masters deg. in engineering and work for nasa?

What kind of receiver are you using? You know Roady, Roady2, SkiFi, etc...

In a machine shop I'd try and not use an FM mod, due to all the frequencys flying around and what not.

a good start would be getting the antenna to a window... i work in a machine shop, and that worked for me...

sorry i forgot to say i dont have XM yet . im looking into it . i just wanted to know how it was in this type of work area.

The Boonbox would be the easiest set up. Stick the XM antenna out a window and crank it.

My roady 2 works fine in Machine Shop, lots of signals bounc'in around here.
I am near window though.

Jesus douche, you have this guy thinking it is a boonbox. Why not tell him to ask for the "skybox" while you are at it.

gnp, it is a BOOMBOX, not having the virus yet, you would not understand. And if you get it, and put the antenna out the window, you SHOULD get top notch reception. Then you can catch up, and figure out the boonbox while you play monster rain.
