Death by wood chipper (http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/g/a/2004/11/08/chipper08.DTL)
San Francisco Chronicle

"A San Jose man was killed when he was sucked into a wood chipper during a landscaping job, police said. Officer Gina Tepoorten said Miguel Marquez, 19, was working just outside of Novellus Systems around 11 a.m. when some debris got caught in the wood chipper's chute. Attempting to clear the chute by kicking the wood through, both his feet and legs were pulled into the shredder, Tepoorten said. Two co-workers were clearing branches from a tree at the time and didn't witness the accident, but pulled Marquez from the wood chipper. His right leg had been completely severed, according to Tepoorten."

Sucks to be you moment of the day brought to you by Bud Light. Need less fuel, drink cold refreshing Bud Light. This leg's for you.

I heard that someone committed suicide by jumping feet first into a chipper at a logging camp.... grizzly!

What ever works for you.

Beats jumping from the fifteenth floor and taking some poor fuck out?

Wow. Who tries to clean out one of those giant wood chippers by using his feet? I wonder if that guy ever cleaned out his toaster with a knife. I guess turning it off first would have been to much effort.

If you think about it, what are the odds that there'd even be someone named Miguel on a landscaping crew? :icon_eek:

I keep thinking of the United Airlines pilot from Connecticut who used the wood chipper on his stewardess wife!

"Honey, you are looking rather chipper this morning!"
