I think Ant's impressions sound better than before. It might have something to do with the quality of audio between satellite and FM. I'm really amazed at his Tony Danza impression...it's dead on!

The Tony Danza is effing amazing. For me the Don West just sounds off. I bring it up cause one of my fav bits is DW selling dead sports star parts. Brilliant I say.

The main thing is the whole the sound of the show is a lot different than the FM days. Everything sounds thinner. Its mostly a result of XM's digital format, ask anyone with some audio recording background. Also, 202 has some pretty harsh compression as its not allotted much bandwith; this makes the compression artifacts stand out a little more.

:icon_eek: Now THATS too much detail. my trucker brain can't handle it .:icon_conf But your still a good buddy just the same.:icon_mrgr
I think he's just rusty with the Don West, nothing to do really with the compression, although I do hear that. THat voice is all throat, and he's having a little trouble finding it, but that is faggoty nit picking, because it sounds good enough for me.
The Britney Spears bit is the best Don West one. "Oops I did it in my pants, can you imagine. You're gonna need a crowbar to pry this bitch open. Uh, I'm coughing blood. Be dialing."
